Just gonna say, the 80’s one you had was actually an early 90’s board. The early 90’s ones had tiny wheels and the 80’s ones usually had VEEERY small noses, if not none at all, with big wide wheels.

im curious what @Mike Osterman thinks of andy andersons board shape. from what i remember of andy talking about it, a lot of the unique things that set his shape apart from a popsicle shape, were intended to make freestyle tricks easier...but his board is so much different from a typical freestyle board. does mike think freestyle tricks are easier on andys board vs a popsicle?

As some one who is wanting to get into skateboarding this was a really interesting video for me! (I absolutely will do it I'm having spinal surgery in 2 days time) so after recovery I will be working on my health and for sure looking to pickup a board. I'm 28 so it is nerving but my nephew lives a 5 minute walk from a skate park and he likes to use his scooter and bmx there... im sure if i buy him a skateboard its something we could learn together! I'm thinking popsicle would be fine! Only thing that I am wandering is about whether I could skate as someone overweight or I would need to wait until after I have shifted the pounds.
