4:54 I agree, you two (and no doubt STEVEN) are among a small group of podcasters that have been the foundation of such a strong, world wide, support network of humans. . . With soooo much LOVE! Thank you for truckin on with us (and for us- we appreciate y'all more than you know) through all the years!! Happy holidays love love!🤠
Thank you both so much for your show. This Thanksgiving is going to be a hard one (obviously due to recent events in this country) but I'll be spending Thanksgiving with like-minded friends who'll be attempting to lift each others' spirits. You both always make me feel better. I hope you have a nice holiday....❤BTW.....Once we're done licking our wounds, we WILL Sally Forth!
I’ve been waiting for this story. I graduated from Cedar Crest College which is a women’s college in Allentown, PA. (Yes, everything that you stated about single sex education is true! Girls and women have opportunities to fill all the roles without limitations.) There was a common expression: Cindy Crest and Larry Lehigh because many women from my college attended Lehigh’s fraternity parties every weekend and dated Lehigh men. Friday and Saturday nights on “The Hill” (the nickname for Lehigh’s fraternity row of about 30 fraternity houses) was filled with Preppies, Punk Rock fans, jocks, and crazy antics. We were privileged and separated from the rest of the world. We were naive. Yes, doors were not locked and frequently propped open because we had nothing to fear, or so we thought. As soon as you mentioned The Morning Call, I got chills. I knew you were going to feature the brutal murder of Jeanne Clery. You covered it perfectly. Thank you for including the residual effect of this tragic story. The Clery Family fought a fierce battle. They channeled their grief to ensure that colleges and universities were held accountable for reporting crimes, and that security on campuses was everyone’s responsibility.
My new favourite episode! Sharing Fairy sightings and encounters is my thing, it's what I do. Imagine my surprise when I tune in for some true crime and get the Cottingley Fairies. Thanks so much for sharing this amazing story. Belief in the Fairies is more common than most people think, (although many don't admit they believe!). My Grandmother once said "The Fairies? No, I don't believe in them, but that doesn't mean they're not there"... Love you ladies, thanks for the open minds and good vibes (and for dipping your toes into Fairies), this world needs to seek out the mystical and magical more than ever! xxx
I truly adore you beautiful humans … I found you while recovering from Covid so early in the pandemic before masks & vaccinations. I had you in my ears for my 3 month recovery. Thank you for everything you do for mental health something I try to survive daily. Please help bring awareness to longcovid … happy holidays & SSDGM
''Banana for scale'' is a joke to show the size of an object by comparing it to a banana. Please see exert below from Know Your Meme - "On March 30th, 2005, a photo of a banana placed against a TV set was posted on the blog Rockdogdesigns with a description explaining the TV was for sale: "I don’t know how big the screen is, we’re moving and I can’t find the tape measurer. But I do have a banana. For scale. Oh wait, my husband says it’s 19inches. Oh well, I’ll leave the banana for interest. Please be interested." It snowballed and is now a famous meme and is referred to often when talking about sizes of things - i.e look at this sinkhole. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Wow! I work at Arizona State University and we get "Clery Alerts" in our email when a crime happens on or near campus. Now I know why they are called Clery Alerts! Thank you for sharing this story. Also, I was also a college freshman in 1984... and dorm-security was non-existent. My 58th bday is in 2 days. This story hits home on so many levels.
A great combination of dark and light stories today. I recommend the 1997 movie about the Cottingley fairies: Fairy Tale: A True Story. It's a jewel of a film
THANK YOU for these videos of your excellent show. I've loved your podcast for years, but it's even more fun to watch you both discuss so many interesting stories as well here on RUclips. You made my Thanksgiving holiday extra special. 💕
As someone who works in higher education and my spouse and ALL of my friends work in higher education, my first thought was “how is Clery not a household name?? Everyone know about her and the Clery Act of course” and then it dawned on me that it’s pretty niche to my industry for everyone to extensively know the details about this
Growing up in a crazy evangelical family obsessed with proving to the world that their religion is the right one, I have zero interest in arguing my beliefs with anyone. Especially when it comes to God or the afterlife.
As someone who never made it to a live show before lockdown, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate these video recordings.
Love these video episodes!

Happy late birthday:) from another Arizona MFMer !!! 🎉❤
I love the rant about funding colleges-in fact, we should all be voting with our dollars regarding not only colleges but CORPORATIONS!
When I found out Karen was 54, my jaw literally dropped. She is so beautiful and I need her skin care routine now!
Happy Thanksgiving my MFM Queens ❤
2:22 if you put "Bob the Drag Queen's iconic wig reveal from We're Here" in the youtube search bar, the video comes up and it is AWESOME!
Thanks for this!
Thank youuuuu

Even today, I don’t think colleges and universities report the true reality of what happens on their campuses.
Oh my god, I have this book. I love this Georgia so much!
Clandestine sinkhole video. 😂 I am dying.
Thanks folks for a brilliant Thanksgiving break. Take XMAS off but please show an episode on that date. Even if it’s an older one. 😊
Thank you all so much for putting your shows on YT. As soon as I heard the Tik Tok, I had to switch from just hearing to watching. Love Love Love
I just want to hangout with Karen every day and just have her tell me things. Anything.

Would you share the name of the Facebook group that Mandy wrote in about? There are several, and I'd love to be involved in one that is very active :)
No amount of money or technology is going to keep them from hitting the mic 😂
Banana for scale!
am I the only one who's seeing white and gold?
