Yep, #22 kicked that last fight off. You can see him talking to the refs after and it looks like he is trying to explain he jumped in to seperate the players?
He started shit and hid like a cry baby. Poosie
#7 for the light blue team clearly went in for a little shove after the game was obviously over. He started the mess, period. Yes, # 22 should not have came in like he did but #6 on the light blue was coming in just as fast all the way from the other side of the court and almost simultaneously shoves a player that did nothing. If we're letting 7 off the hook 6 from light blue has as much responsibility as 22 from dark blue. Also, this all happens at dark blue's end of the floor with light blue very salty they lost a tough match. Light blue also gets off a completely blind side sucker punch that did some damage.

2- Sliding tackle in futsal.... wtfff
3- TU FC 's goalkeeper costing them two stupid goals. He didn't need to push this high.
4- Toronto BSA are wack. The coach thinks he's in the champs league, stop complaining
5- #22 keeper starting it, but hiding behind everybody afterwards.
6- We need cameras everwhere....changing rooms, parking lot, etc.

so slide tackling is allowed in futsal, but not in the way they use it. they slide to dispossess the opponent and the rules in futsal if I'm not wrong are to block shots, intercept passes or to try and keep the ball in play. I feel slide tackling on a harder surface such as futsal is just asking for a serious injury to occur.
@@bernardnogueiraschuler7050 Yes it totally makes sens in the situations you named, but they were litteraly tackling eachother like they were playing outside on grass. Injuries or escalation is bound to happen in my opinion.

I think the refs handled the game well and gave out cards accordingly. The rules of being allowed to slide on that surface doesn't help . The refs cant give a card to every tackle . Light blue team should have done better when a goal up and keeper shouldn't have been as forward as he was . Fair play to the dark blue team for some decent goals . Both teams disqualified is fair
Difficult game for the officials to control.. light blue wanted to play but can clearly see dark blue once lossing just wanted to fight.. the mass pushing at the end came from an incedental late tackle but dark blue wanted to make a massive issue out of it...
Yeah I was rooting for the dark blue team but that fight was so uncalled for
Dunno how many connections were made during the brawl but at least the footage can be used in the assault case against the flying elbow dude

Defender #6 on the light blue team was playing lights out at the back. I don't agree with the slide tackling, but he played all out. BSA was already up 3-2 and yet they still caused the fight especially #22 goalkeeper. Both teams being disqualified was fair.

Both teams definitely deserved to be disqualified…you’d think grown men knew how to behave like grownups…instead they behaved like children throughout the game, constantly overdramatizing each situation and escalating each physical contact…
The refs tried their best and did a respectable effort in trying to control the game…

I've played enough competitive sports as a kid and adult to know things can get heated. I've seen more than my share of fights on a softball field. I think the refs did what they had to do to keep the game in check. They're not perfect though. Adults need to be adults and realize none of this will really matter the next morning when they go to their real job. I think the double disqualification was warranted and the league needs to review for not letting some players back the following season. There's really no place for this anywhere, especially when there are kids running on the court when the fight took place at the end. Great camera work though!

I’ve never seen an indoor league on any surface that allowed slide tackles, especially a court surface. The refs allowed far too many tackles with a high leg that would have been carded in outdoor play. There’s a lot wrong here.
I believe they're playing futsal rules, which allows slide tackles, not indoor soccer rules, though I'm not sure the exact rules about it.
@@allenalfaro6260, FA rules for Futsal are specific that slide tackles are NOT allowed, although sliding to keep a ball in play or to block a goal is allowed. Their rules of play contribute to the problems of discipline.

I think being emotional and getting mad is part of the game. I don’t have a problem with a bit of pushing or getting in each others faces. I do have a problem when the game is over, and thats how you act. Especially in front of a bunch of kids literally feet away. So I think its fair
Agree. Pushing was the limit. Elbow to face and kicking a guy in the floor was a disgrace. Sadly very typical in amateur, not so much in professional.

You clearly have never watched a futsal game in your life. This isn't your shitty indoor soccer at the hangar where there is no slide tackling. Maybe watch a game on YT from Futsal World Cup 2021? Maybe in your Sunday Spanish leagues you don't allow contact? Flops only?
Slide tackling in futsal is no different than football.

I love playing soccer but playing futsal for me was a receipt for disaster. The floor alone can lead to some major injury. Unpopular opinion but I’ll take turf over wooden floor any day.

Blue Goalie (grey #22) should miss the championship plus 1 to 2 games. White (lite blue) #5, #6 and #18 should have missed the championship game plus 3 to 4 games.

Refs weren't absolutely terrible but some seemingly one-sided calls on what is allowed on tackles, especially sliding. One team slides through legs several times with no call at all and then one gets ball first then through legs and it's not only a foul but an immediate yellow. Following that same play ref places the ball for the fk and then the team decides they want it at a better angle which he allows. LOL! These teams were very intense and it was going to be tough to handle no matter what.
Oof, I can’t imagine playing futsal on a harcourt. No wonder so many injuries.

Dark Blue goalkeeper started the final brawl by running out of his goal and pushing an opponent. As he already had a yellow card, he should have been given a second for the push and sent off. Had the ref done that straight away, there wouldn't have been a brawl.

Ontario Soccer and the referees are a complete joke. How do you assign refs who do not know or apply the rules of futsal? You are simply not allowed to slide TACKLE in futsal. You can do it only when not within playing distance of opponent (to block a shot, regain possession, keep ball from going out, etc.)
They need to re-educate the referees or assign ones who know the laws of the game.
They can’t afford them lol when I won the cup 9 years ago I knew all the refs cause they came from my home town and they know their shit and won’t take shit but it cost more to have refs like that. Drive down not be reimbursed for gas and paid to ref not worth it for them.
This is such a weird league. Sliding tackles in futsal are 99% of the time not allowed.
Sliding when no other player is around is generally fine, but you can't slide tackle at all in most cases, certainly not when you make contact.
I played soccer growing up as a boy. This is exactly why I refuse to play with ‘kids’ again.

@@reckless4268 Every futsal league you've played in has probably been unsanctioned ran by some league operator ripping you off and pocketing the cash while he hets a HS gym for free. Ontario Cup Futsal is a sanctioned event under OSA/CSA. FIFA has it's own Laws for Futsal. Maybe you should read them? Give a copy to your sunday spanish unsanctioned BS league so they can throw out their "rules" LMAOOO
PS Slide tackling in futsal was illegal in 2008 and it was removed as a foul. Things have changed since then PAL!
