  • Hamida, from #Afghanistan, and Al Shikh, from #Sudan share why they fled their countries to Greece and what the journey itself was like. They are now living in a closed controlled access center (CCAC) on the island of Samos, where they were transferred upon arrival. Securitization and restriction of freedom have harmed the mental health and physical well-being of people living in these centers. Here, Hamida and Al Shikh speak about life inside the camp and their hopes for the future. #Greece #refugeestories #refugees
