You did a pretty good job with this video, Samos is an exceptional beautiful island. I need to dispel one myth though: Pythagoras was not born on Samos! His parents were from Samos, but Pythagoras was born while they were on a trade voyage to Syria. His birthplace was the port city of Sidon in what is now Lebanon. Source: 'Life of Pythagoras' by Iamblichus (ca 245-325 CE).

The subtitles at the bottom are too small for me...but lovely video...Are the beaches all so crowded and covered in beds though?
I'm surprised you're not mentioning Aphrodite Garden Restaurant as one of the places to eat, given they are the top restaurant for traditional greek food with an amazing atmosphere.
I only follow locals' recommendations. But yeah, that one looks good too!
@@MarcTorbick Yeah it's pretty skewed, we noticed. A lot of people recommended Maritsa which turned out to not even be comparable to what you got to experience at Aphrodite. :)

Very nice island but the restaurant food terrible and commercial. Better to rent a studio and cook by yourself
Samos is an exceptional beautiful island and it should stay that way. Casa Cook is a ugly building and should never have been build on that location !!!!
I think so too. Samos is so beautiful (I've been coming back for 20 years) but it didn't need Casa Cook
Some ugly modern hotel yep not in traditional style . ..what millennials like 😅
