excellent video! Been going for years in Greece but this september will be for the first time in Naxos so every info and tips are welcome! I think that my 4 days plan is a bit short to cover all, might just get an aperitivo for next year. Thank you for this interesting contribution!
Hi Clay! Were you finally in Naxos in October? I will go the first week of October and I have doubts about the weather and how many tourists there will be on that date. Some videos say that there are very few restaurants open in October, we would not like an island full of tourists that's why we go on that date, but I wouldn't want to find an abandoned island either. I hope you can help me!
@@GHPbv I did go to Naxos. It was in no sense deserted. Plenty of people there, although not crowded. Most shops and restaurants were open. The weather was nice but on Crete the week before we had some cold rainy weather. Bring a light rain jacket. You may not need it, but you may.
I stayed in Naxos on Plaka beach in June of 2022 as part of our 3 week trip to Greece. We are planning our 2nd trip to Greece visiting Milos, Naxos, Crete and Athens in June of 2023. Your video is great and informative.
Nice video. Have been to about 5 Greek islands, hoping to go to Naxos and Corfu this or next year. That small airport reminds me of the one on Ko Samui, Thailand.
Your video is Very Very Informative !!!!! And very very correct !!!!! from a Naxos Expert ! I`m a 60y old Athenian, who spent in 80`s my best youth holidays on Naxos !!! ( I`m not from Naxos, my friends /the majority of the Naxians are living in this part of Athens )
Hey, it's getting crowded now. But I agree that if you're looking for a more quiet place with descent prices, this is a good option. And it's a beautiful island. Very different from Mykonos and Santorini where most people go and where you would spend minimum 500 euros a night for an hotel and be placed on a waiting list to get dinner.
Great video Naxos is a must-visit in Cyclades. It is also on my bucket list and I really want to make a video as well. Nice work again you have a new subscriber here , I wish you to reach soon the 1000 subs :)
After such a nice comment I have no choice but to follow u back and watch all your awesome videos :-) Wow, Ikaria is tempting. Maybe u ll reach 1k before me. I get 10 per year, what a disaster
Thanks for the video! Can't wait to be there
Awesome. Glad it helps. Enjoy!

Have fun!
Our favourite island. Returned from there 2 weeks ago and definitely going back.
Nice and informative video, thank you!
I'm going in early October and this has been more informative than 90% of the other videos on Naxos.
I truly appreciate your comment. I keep it real, no influencer bs :-) Have fun there, might be super quiet in October.

Great! You will love Crete, especially if you're a foodie.

Glad you like it. At least in koh Samui you wait for the plane in a beautiful tropical outdoor garden, in Naxos you wait at the parking 😅

I'm very happy to hear that! All the best!
Nice video!
Seems so serene and empty though…
Hardly any people anywhere.
