After staying at Yulara for 5 days sick as dogs with the flu and malnourished from not feeling like eating we travelled on towards Alice Springs once we were well enough and stopped at Stuart’s Well Roadhouse to get some lunch. Let me tell you that steak sandwich was the MOST DELICIOUS steak sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! I immediately felt like my health was restored. The chips and THAT GRAVY…mmmmm yummo! Best gravy ever. We dream of that meal, best recovery meal we ever had! Lovely staff too! That was in 2022, I sure hope it’s still the same, and f do I highly recommend stopping there for lunch, there’s also a caravan park there.
Hi Guys, great to see new places to stay - Athelle Outback hideaway farm stay looks great. On our trip back in 2022 we had intended to stay at Karlu Karlu, but being in a tent, the camp ground is not very tent friendly, so continued onto Ti Tree Roadhouse.. Now that we have a caravan, we can stay at places like Karlu Karlu. The colours of the outback are just amazing - red dirt, blue skies - just brilliant.
Wow, you guys do some long hauls in a day. If we did those distances, we'd run out of land. 😅. Another great episode there team. I love those outback colours.

You buy yoghurt in Australia will not be able to get new Zealand pies Katie and jasper both of you will be interested in this our group is going to watch a live broadcast At the school of air lesson with the teachers interacting with the children how amazing is that Katie and jasper yes jasper we are going to see the devil's marbles at karlu karlu also going to Wycliffe well no idea where that is I think we pass the ti tree roadhouse wow Paul the beer is cheap yes Paul we are going to the Daly pub how much is the beer can you get a croc burger and chips there or a pub meal Paul are the repairs on the Stuart highway going to take weeks to do Paul the temperature there maximum 32degrees is double what we are getting in Auckland new Zealand right now back to you Katie what do you guys have for dinner I hope I can buy that bread you guys make this is going to be amazing tour guys I won lotto only joking got you there I won a small amount of money Katie how is the red dirt is it dusty happy trails guys don/t get lost only joking we might cross paths who knows by the way great video and jasper you were great making the noise when the truckies pull the horn I yet to see one of those long haul trucks on the road ii forgotten what they call them happy trails guys not long to go now 3weeks❤❤😂🎉😂🎉
Desmond here Katie how are you all well good news katie the couple I have employed to do clean up my garden of weeds are doing and outstanding job my garden looks amazing they are very nice people they are great co my doctor says how are you going to be on the plane I reply I will be fine calm and relax this trip is I have be looking forward to as you know for a long time as you have mention before I just need to relax and enjoy the ride which I will the garden was just getting to hard for me a few months a go I tried to dig a scrub out my neighbour saw me he got the scrub out for me. I got this beautiful wool cardigan I brought in Canada I am going to wear it on cold nights in Australia and the wonderful japanese lady who is going to iron my clothes and her team going to clean my unit of course pay them there are certainly wonderful people in the you this world no washing don/t need to do the dishes don/t need to make meals for 2 weeks as someone said to me you go on holiday to relax meeting new people the peace and quiet of the outback the wildlife the sunrises and sunsets away from television and the rat race and the inspiration you gave me Katie and your husband and course jasper
Desmond here well Katie it's the 5 th of august is caming up very fast I am picking up the Aussie money on Friday the 2nd I hand over$2,779 which will get me 2,500 Aussie which will cover the optional tours it will be first time in a helicopter and air balloon so everything is falling into place the cleaning team is caming on Thursday the lady is going to iron my clothes I pick up the flight tickets and money next friday
