Holy macaroni. The Feelgood Hardware shop. 😊 We don't carry anywhere the gear you do on this side of the ditch. But, like you, we do make sure that everything has a place, & everything things in its place.
Thanks team. That was a good run down.

Haha! Holy Macaroni! Love this saying - yes a lot to carry that’s for sure… so remote for recovery costs in some of these places 😅

Hey guys, have discovered your channel and really enjoying watching!
We have a couple of things in our emergency box that we think are good things to have: can of silicon spray, can of Inox (helps sticky locks) and a bottle of Slime (for when all spare tyres are used and you get another flat!)
We have discovered Woodland Orchard, a local SA company who make dehydrated food packs. Their price is excellent and we've found cheaper than the store bought dehydrated packs. Love supporting local Aussie business!
    Safe travelling!

Thank you! And thanks for the Woodlane Orchard recommendation- their products look amazing 🤩 we’ve added the silicone spray and inox to our box and will check
out the slime…. Jasper will like that 😅

I'd be throwing that snorkel sock in the bin, they block up so quick which cause rich fuel issues etc

I always take a torque wrench to check wheels on vehicle and caravan. I have seen a lot of wheels come loose on corrugated roads. I did a trip to the cape with my brother who is a trade qualified fitter and he swore blind he can tighten wheels correctly without a torque wrench. After he checked his wheel nuts I tested them and the variation was incredible. After that he was happy for me to check the wheel nuts daily with my wrench. We saw a couple of fourbys with wheels that had shot off into the scrub. I do daily checks on my tandem axle caravan and usually find at least one wheel nut has loosened slightly. I put it down to sideways forces when turning sharp bends when parking up. Apparently it is the different torque settings than can cause issues, not so much that one nut is loose and others are doing extra load bearing. Something to consider.

So good and yes, we do carry one also (should have mentioned in the ep)! We just filmed using one in Coober Pedy and definitely worth checking daily as you say it’s amazing how they can wiggle loose!! The couple we are travelling with had 2 loose and one very loose!! Lucky we checked 🙌🍻

Just want to say love your setup however where do you have your food stored and clothes when just using the car only. We have a single cab 79 and have space at the end of our canopy for chairs tables clothes bags and extra water. Our drawers cover tools and extra items with one drawer for food and pots
    Where do you store yours

Hey Chris, we have a lot of floor space in the canopy on top of the MSA drawer system - but for now we aren’t heading off with vehicle only camping 🏕️ when we do only take the 79 we are staying in a cabin or similar - we will look to ‘camp’ out with the 79 in the future and then the balancing act of stuff and necessity will be a challenge 😅🏕️💙 safe travels
