Like most others, I was introduced to Joseph through his amazing performance as Eddie and now I'm going through his catalog. I just finished Howard's End and it was gorgeous and he was truly exquisite in the role of Leonard and his chemistry on screen is amazing. I'm excited to check out Dickensian.
I believe that Dickensian is one the most exciting series made in the last 10 years in Britain ,it takes you back to the wonderful and realistic world of the great Charles Dickens ,who is in my view a universal author along writers like Dostoyevsky ,Faulkner ,Joyce or Najib Mahfoud ,a man who depicted human misery and nature in meticulously unparalleled ways .The cast of the series gave excellent performances, making this cocktail of Dickensian tales a joyful show.
It was so good. I wish we would have gotten a season 2, they were setting it up nicely! I loved the relationship between Inspector Bucket and Mr. Venus, especially.
I recommended this series to a friend and when I grabbed a link to the trailer, saw this interview. I love these guys! Joe is so unlike his character, and he's really quick. Tom is dashing and smart. I do love the memory of them mashing up.

+whatsontvstars If you read great expectations you'll see that he does get a really brutal comeuppace. I find watching his character in Dickensian very dusturbing especially knowing the cruel impact he will leave on both of the Havershum's lives, the character is a complete shit.
