Hi Summer! Thank you for another well made and informative video. That's a really pretty variety of the Peperomia. I really appreciate your daily plant care videos. They help me a lot! TFS!
My polybotrya is so sensitive to the slightest amount of too much water. She drops her leaves immediately. Luckily she grows leaves really quickly too! Love the shiny leaves!
A friend gave me one a month ago, but it had scale. After I sprayed and cleaned the leaves, I thought I was going to lose it. In fact, it lost every leaf but 1; now it’s growing fresh new Healy leaves!
Great video! Thank you so much for sharing summer. It's always such a pleasure seeing you! 🌸🦋 My hubby just came home with a huge raindrop pepperomia today. I'm super excited to grow this one🙇♀️ I love the shape and feel of the leaves 🍃
OMG...Estoy celoso! Me encanta Colombia pero nunca he viajado allá. Hehe. En mi cabeza he estado allá. ✌🏽😅
Thank you so much for this!! i have 2 quick questions for ya! will it be terrible if i propagate one of her leaves on an actual windowsill? Its a north facing window. I live in Los angeles but my window has a tiny draft. Do you think the draft or the cold at night will be detrimental? 2nd question! my soil feels a bit tight or dense/sturdy...should i take it out and massage and loosen some of the soil and repot with fresh soil and a perlite mix? ive been wanting to mix perlite in the mix anyway but im always so afraid to disturb them ahh! its been happy for the last year in the pot its in and i dont need to repot in bigger pot. I am just thinking i need to add perlite as well as loosen up the soil. Or should i let it be since it likes to be pot bound? Thank youuuu!!!!
I have one that has massive leaves, but the entire plant is more bushy than tall still; it's about 6-7" tall by about the same width. But the leaves are like, 4-5" (one old leaf is 6") across on some of them! I love it so much. As far as care and hardiness, I've found it to be kind of in-between the succulent Pep's and the more tender types; it's not quite as drought-tolerant as species like _P. obtusifolia_ or _graveolens_ but it's considerably more succulent in nature than _P. caperata_ or 'Rosso' or 'Frost' types, that have soft leaves. It's just such a vast varied group of plants.
I think the same actually of the watermelon _P. argyreia_ ...at least as far as hardiness. That one is a bit more tender, grows from the base (rather than branching so much), and structurally it's more like 'Frost'.
Almost looks like pilea pepperomiodies, and actually thought the pilea was this plant when I purchased it. Pretty similar in care it seems, but different propagation methods lol
Hi. I love this plant and I know they say that it is really easy to take care of but they do not work for me. As soon as I get them in my house the leaves start to soften and then turn black and fall. I certainly don't overwater but can not understand what I do wrong. Any help will be appreciated. Many thanks
I’m not a peperomia person but I got this one today because it was on clearance and looked like it needed saving. Maybe I will grow to like it but I am kinda happy I got it. It’s sitting on my windowsill. It’s west facing but the house next door blocks a lot of light from coming through my window so I think it will be okay. Plus I have a privacy sticker on my window. My neighbours house is really close.
Hey I'm new to the houseplant scene and I wanted to ask a question about my peperomia. The past few weeks my peperomias larger bottom leafs have started yellowing and eventually falling off. Can someone help me out with how I can prevent this from happening?
Hello Summer! Mine is constantly tilting its main stem A LOT!. I keep turning it so it won't fall down from the weight but i was wondering if it's too cruel to tight the stem to a stick. It looks super healthy and when i moved it to a brighter area thinking that it needed more light the leaves got super yellow. Thank you so much!
Hi Your house is the most beautiful I've ever seen Your living room is my dream And I'm thinking of bringing in some greens in my place too... Your videos inspired me Have a good day, from India 😂 😘
I have a baby plant. Looks healthy but every once in awhile a leaf just falls off. So the plant isn't getting bigger. Not over watering so why is this happening? Help!!!!!!
My raindrop plant grew like crazy near and then in a east facing window. But it's started to lean to the side and the stems look like they have brown veins. It seems top heavy, but the stems no longer stand straight and stiff. Can you help me please?
i hated my plant becayse it was tiny and i gave up on it, but when i saw yours, i got excited to grow mine. i want them to have smaller leaves rather than what i have now which is super big leaves and its wilting i iguess cz its heavy, any tips.
I have a very small polybotrya that I got within the last two-three weeks and perfectly healthy leaves keep popping right off at the base. I have been watering when it is dry, or do I thought. What could be going wrong?
Hi! My raindrop's leaves keep falling off. I just got her about a week ago. I did water her once since I purchased her. I don't put her in direct light. I just put one of her fallen leaves in water to propagate. Any advice?
I need advice. I have a Peperomia polybotrya. And then tried to propagate the leaves but putting the stem in water but seem like it’s not working. The stem looks overwatered and started to curl up.
Bought one for myself. One for my mom. My mom's is going superbly, mine is dying. I didn't give it too much light, not much sun, just light. So many leaves have fallen and the rest are floppy and lifeless, I forsee a soon death 🥲🥺 my mom waters it 1 per week, so do I.. the soil gets dry SUPER fast.. maybe its cause of winter.. idk.. my mom is looking amazing tho..
Hey summer, just wondering why I've found it called pilea instead of peperomia.trying to figure it out, I bought the plant and it's named pilea instead, that's here in Australia. Also seen online different names. Anyone have any ideas let me know, thanks!
Hi there. I am a new plant mom, so no expert here at all - but i am pretty sure that those are two different kind of plants. The leafs on the peperomia raindrop look very similar to those of the pilea peperomia. Both are very beautiful. I have a little pilea-baby, that my father gave to me two weeks ago rooting in water at the moment. I hope it will survive once i will pot it in soil. I looove this plant. I hope this was the answer you were looking for. (English is not my first language) Have a nice day, greetings from germany :)
I watch every video but I sit here feeling so jealous I wish I could shake it lol soon my sweets soon I will have you all. Right now my favorite plants are the Maria Arrowhead plant(the rust green/red) I named Blush and my monstera I know it's cliche but I named him Godzilla
Just got home with this plant and sat down to look it up on your channel. Perfect timing!

The best part of my day by far
really enjoying these daily plant reviews. I hope I see this one in a garden store (haven't yet). I'm really like the round leaves.

I love my Raindrop!! Thank you!
I got one at Grocery Oulet. It is short but has huge leaves...
Almost looks like pilea pepperomiodies, and actually thought the pilea was this plant when I purchased it. Pretty similar in care it seems, but different propagation methods lol

Are pilea pepermeoides related to pepperomia? Can’t help but see the resemblance in leaf structure other than the pointed tip

I have this plant and the leaves come in nice but then they quickly spit open and they seem to be curling up a bit . What does this mean ?
I bought a Beautiful raindrop pepperoni 3 days ago. Some of the leaves are turning under at the tip. Can you help me?

Hi!! Is this also called Owl Eye Peperomia?! I just got some leaves from this kind lady and I’m going to attempt vein propagation😍

Is pepperomia pilea the same thing or different?
Ashley S the peperomia polybotrya looks similar to the pilea peperomiodes but they are two different plants
Mine is dying. New leaves are black at edge.

@@lengo83 hey thanks, yes I think it's a peperomia now after more investigation. I think the plant place I got it from had identified it wrong.
