    On April, 14, I cut two Polybotrya leaves in half and made a mini greenhouse out of a recycled salad container. When I checked them yesterday, all of them had roots. Super exciting!!

      @@BudgetBotany Thanks. When I first saw those shiny leaves sticking out all over the place, I knew that I had to try my had at growing them from cuttings. The potential to have four just makes it even better.

      @BudgetBotany  2 года назад +1

      I haven't tried that for this plant either but I know it works some other peperomia. If you do give this a try, I'd be curious to know how it goes!

      I have propagated it from a leaf in a stem and it worked just fine! I rooted the stems in water before planting them in soil and in a few weeks they all shot up leaves!

    Hi can i check what do you do with the leave cutting once the babies come? Leave it be or separate the babies out?

    • @BudgetBotany
      @BudgetBotany  2 года назад +2

      Hi! I like to leave the cutting there, and I only remove it when it comes off on its own.

      @@BudgetBotany yes, sometimes I forget about them and find some little leaves are growing with the roots under the water, they are really cute, for me it’s a very strong plant. But maybe is because I live in a place where it isn’t really cold. I hope you try it and show us, greetings from Mexico ☺️🇲🇽
