Grow Light Experiment September 2016

Here at Second Sun Hydroponics, we're comparing the results of 2 different lighting options a homeowner or small grower might use to produce microgreens or seedlings. T5 High Output Fluorescent light vs LED Shop Light. Why this comparison? The LED Shop Light is something the home gardener can find easily at most box stores and is close to a T12 or T8 fluorescent light. So I wanted to illustrate the differences between the high output T5 fluorescent and the LED shop lights.
