For those of you who are caregivers, this is for you. This was created during a time I truly felt I needed this myself and I hope you find some rest, support, and healing here. Love, Aprille XX
Lovely to hear this and I am so glad you joined Lucy and I for practice. Please reach out with any questions or if you would like some practice recommendations and welcome to our studio! Aprille
❤thank you for this practice. It was much needed during this time in my life. I hope you are well and enjoying all the peaceful quiet moments available to you right now.
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, this is part of that collection. I know you probably already know this from being here but some of the yoga nidras can be very helpful for compassion fatigue as well. Take care of yourself Kathy and let me know if I can suggest anything for you. : )
Aprille, I appreciate you and what you do so much!! Thank you! This made a silly request pop into my head: this spring or summer would you consider doing a 10-20 minute “bird song” meditation? Like, just sitting on your mat, doing simple breath work, listening to bird song and neighborhood noises? (I’ve watched several of your videos today and realized a) you’re amazing at this type of relaxation video and b) the birdsong at your place is so beautiful!! 😅) Thanks for being you and I hope you’re taking good care of yourself too!! 💕
You are very, very welcome Anne! Well, yes. I can certainly add that to my list for when the weather is better and the birds are a little more active. And thank you so much for your kind words!
Thank you for this. I needed this, I've been in a funk for almost a month now and I feel so lost and out of balance with myself and the people around me. I'll be adding this to my yin yoga playlist and doing this practice as often as I can, or as much as I need. Much love and appreciation thank you.
Aprille and Lucy posted this for me to do later today (hopefully) after I finish the day at my new job where I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and undertrained, so the fight or flight response has been activated since I started last week, as I wonder if I’ve made a mistake taking the first job that came along. Take a deep breath I say to myself and just do my best, but also ask for more guidance when needed. It is what it is. It may not be for me for the long term and that’s okay. It’s a paycheque for now. In the meantime, I have my beloved kitties and pupper to hang out with me while I do my Yin yoga to keep me on a (sort of) even keel. Can’t wait!
