Really enjoyed that dude. I loved the graphics you used. One observation if I may be so bold, the music audio is much louder than than your talkie bits and I found myself turning the volume up and down. Btw I’ve had to re think my existence during some dodgy overtakes on fast French roads 😉. Cheers.
Cheers Lee : Thanks for pointing that out to me. I did think the same. But once upload it was too late. Sounded fine through my headphones when I edited it. I suppose bits all a learning process for me. Hope it didn’t detract from the content.
@stealyhyguy1784 : Thank you for your patience in that case 😂. It takes me a while to get round to editing these. I have my Hebridean way to do next. I will try and get that out very soon. Thanks for sticking around.
First video of yours I've stumbled across and I must say it's great to finally find a youtuber that gives an honest , realistic review of the trail . A lot of content creator's tend to downplay the difficulty to boost their egos I presume and even one 'fastpacker' going home from bridge of orchy because the walk was "boring" . Really enjoyed the way your video was put together and how you address the audience at the perfect moments along the walk , a good combination of footage, music and commentary. Time to have a look at your back catalogue of videos now 👌
@JamieVauxnut1 : Very kind of you to say those things. I’m glad that video has been recieved the way it has. I think honesty is a far greater narrative than selling the everything is Rosy in the garden bit. Because that’s not real life. I love being out and about whether it’s walking or my other forays on the channel. Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoy the other stuff I’ve listed. Appreciate you taking time out to comment.
Thanks for the sub! And for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. The WhW is a great walk. I really enjoyed it. Don’t leave it too long before you give it a go.
Cracking edit. Ours booked for the beginning of April after being on our bucket list for years. (Apparently the trail is in high demand this year) Scotland is magical and we visit couple of times a year . Looking forward to more content . New sub here !!!!!!!!!!
@carrick16100 Thank you for subscribing, watching and commenting. Really pleased you enjoyed the content. You should be good for the beginning of April doing this walk. It should be midge free😅! I agree. Scotland is magnificent. Having done the Hebridean way last year I shall be going back there sometime in 2024. Have a great trip!
@shinertom142 : Thanks for watching. On this trip for all days except the first I used my Gopro hero 11. The first day was my DJI action 2 which has become my usual go to.
@darrenray6934 You should have a great time. I certainly did! Thank you for watching my exploits and taking time out to respond to it. Have a great walk!
Excellent video really enjoyed it. Thanks for taking us along and all the hard work in putting it all together. Big thumbs up from me and wishing you all the best. Dave aka wackyswanderings
@wackyswanderings3627 : That’s very kind of you to say. Thank you for watching. I try to do something different to the main crews out there. These videos are just my take. If I can help out with some handy tips as I e found them then all good. The most important thing is that I love getting out there. Many thanks again.
Great video...very informative. I found the section across Rannoch moor very hard on the feet. Just a pity the weather wasn't better for you as the view from the top of the Devils staircase is beautiful. You ever think about doing the Cape Wrath trail?
@markgourley3745 Glad you enjoyed my exploits. Unfortunately the weather is the weather. Can’t have it all! My coast 2 coast was glorious. But ever since that. I’ve had moments of bad weather. But it’s all in the gloriousness of these long distance walks. I have thought about cape wrath. And it might. Be something I consider. However there’s only a small section now that I haven’t completed. This year I hope to do a bit abroad. But we shall see. Thanks again.
Really enjoyed this. Planning on doing either the Coast to Coast or The West Highland Way later this year but can’t decide which so have been watching loads of videos - yours are both fantastic. Which would recommend to do first out of the two. Also if you do get time to put a kit video out I’d be very interested to watch it. 😊
@sr6001 firstly thank you for watching and taking time out to make contact. In answer to your question. Both this walk and the coast to coast are great walks. It really depends on what your experience is doing this type of trek. My first ever walk was the C2C. But I had two weeks of ridiculously good weather. The west highland way is a very good starting point due to the distance. Or you could consider the South Downs way. I have a video of that trip you could watch. Or if you are feeling adventurous you could try the Hebridean way. Now that walk is beautiful. Go with what draws you in. That’s what I did. Then do the others if you get on with them.
Loved it. Really informative guide. Thanks for letting us join you on your journey.
@theheraldsheralded7102 : thank you for watching, commenting and enjoying. I had an absolute blast on this trip. Glad to share.

@Buszkraftowski I’m glad you enjoyed the video and that you had a good trail walk yourself. Scotland is a stunning place. I agree

No it didn’t. Myself and the missus did a few miles of it five years ago and absolutely drenched, we still enjoyed every step though !
Get yourself back out there!
Music was annoying tbh
Been waiting for another video off you, nice one 👌🔥
