First video for the new year 🙌
Great to know that 2024 is expected to be more positive for SWEs despite starting off badly with the layoffs
Luca ! , will you kindly make the "office tour" the next video of yours ? i will be the first viewer of that video for sure !
I, too, agree that proving you're a top performer doesn't make you safe from big tech layoffs.
I used to think it was random as well, but this latest Google layoff shows these companies will cut entire orgs/business units.
Thank you for watching! Yes some top priority projects are just a phase you have to position yourself at the money making orgs if you want the most security
I just want to thank you for saving me from getting fired, your tips on manager relationship with the video you had with sandra had the greatest impact on me this past few years. I started reading books on how to manage relationship and it worked. I hope you continue to blend tips on how to ascend with our careers and recommend field that has the highest potential of returns for our careers.
Thank you for sharing! Cheers
SWE is such a good career that they all make YT channels and sell courses.
The opportunity really is by reading millionaire fast lane by Mj Demarco. Think like producer, not consumer 😂
😂
Hey Luca, I'm a uni student who is still very much in the process of learning about the world of IT, but I enjoy coding. I need a little push in the right direction to figure out what areas would be the best fit for me. I've only started doing some research and it seems web, app and game development are some recommendations so far.
That’s good those are some top choices. If you want to be more specialized you can also consider data, AI, or machine learning good luck!
hey Luca , Do you currently work ar Meta ?
I am currently working at one of the FAANG stay toned for more updates!
@@TechwithLuca you have already made a meta/instagram day in life video
I too think chatgpt is great. I'm still a student so chatGPT is great.
Thank you for watching! 100%
While youtube viewers are pondering about life … A poor kid living in the slum of India 🇮🇳 has obtained a master degree in A.I and willing to work for pennies on the dollar in America 🇺🇸 😂 Good Luck 👍 All SWE jobs are either outsourced or soon to be A.I. replaced. 🤫
