September is always my favorite time to be in Montauk. Most of the tourists are gone, and it’s still plenty warm to enjoy everything.

What is the easiest way to travel to Montauk if flying in from Indiana?
That depends on which airport. Because the easiest way is to take the Long Island Railroad.
There is something about the light. Maybe the salt in the air. Maybe it's the convergent energy of the Atlantic and L.I. Sound, I don't know. All I know is that it's a renewal for the senses and soul.
