Most definitely summer! I believe the town itself pretty much shuts down throughout the winter time. Accommodations are only offered between April-October or November I think?

Don’t go here if you have an RV, no RV parking is allowed 8n the two parking lots

There are specific RV camping/ parking areas just outside of town.
