Forreal. Time between them takes like 6 months and that’s just too much lol. I know the testing takes a while but by half the life cycle of the game it’s a little irrelevant
What would be good is a progression guide, so as the gun levels up which are the best attachments to add. These guides are great as a final build, but on your way to them there are so many options.
Hey Ace! Could you make a video on the distances required for longshot and point blank kills for each weapon category, as well as a couple of examples of lines of sight where they can be achieved? They're both big parts of the camo grind this year and the longshots in particular are taking significantly longer than anything else, simply because I don't really know how far I've got to shoot. Great vids as always
i must've had a bad build because I felt like I was hitting 5 plus shots and I would still get eliminated. recently, after having unlocked more attachments I've noticed the gun be a bit more consistent but seeing the highlights Ace is showing here I can definitely have a better load-out
I'm not having connection issues per say, but the in lobby animations before and after the match are completely wrecked. Nothing renders properly and it just makes being forced to sit through that crap even more annoying.
@@bensunnyisaac it’s suppose to be a 2 shot with the 8mm Kurz.. the damage profile indicated in the gunsmith is 50 damage … but it’s a 3 shot kill ?!? And even if you get a headshot in the mix it’s still a 3 shot kill .. it makes no sense .. and I don’t see anything on this anywhere

something to consider in the future, in most gunfights 1-2 shots will miss if both people are moving it would be nice to know the TTK in those situations. but awesome videos man, to the point and full of information.
The way you presented idle sway in this video, is definitely better than the previous one, please keep this one. However, I still believe that aiming straight at a wall was the best way to show it, like you did in BOCW. Good job anyway.

i've been using the short barrel, 8mm rounds, and hollow point rounds, and from my personal experience, No. You definitely do decreased damage at a distance, plus it's even more difficult to hit those limb shots at a distance.
I don't understand people saying the MP40 is OP. I've tried numerous variations of this gun with various attachments, it never seems to be THAT powerful. Even kitted out with lengthened ammo and long range attachments, I find it really struggles with mid-long eliminations. I also find this SMG the worst in category for getting headshots, very weird.
There is a 2 shot kill set up for Mp40, thats pretty op there, but other than its pretty balanced, its not op, just overused because its the first smg everyone has access to. Its kinda like how the mp5 was in bocw, it wasnt broken or anything, just the first smg everyone had access to so everyone just assumed it was broken, when in reality everyone just wanted to get gold for the gun.
Personally i've felt like a headshot king using the MP40. The only time i've felt like i've struggled with it was when using the limb attachments that he's mentioning in the video.
Hey ace, been running your limb destroyer class setup and it seemed i never would get the 2 shot kill to the limbs so i did some testing in custom games and looks like you have to use the VDD 189MM Short Barrel to get the 2 shot kill to the limbs
I'm amazed this is still in the game as of my writing this. To be fair, though, aiming for limbs is a little more difficult than going for center of mass. Skinny legs.
Any chance you could do ranked mode gun guides, ive seen your automoton one which is fantastic help but need an smg. Great content for vanguard is hard to come by, yours is top tier 👊🏻

Great review as always! Would you be able to do a comparison/ test between the silencer muzzles vs the subsonic ammo types? Does one or both keep you off the compass and the radar? There seems to be a bit of confusion on which one does what exactly.
I found that it’s a two shot to the chest with hollow point and heavy mags consistently but not a two shot to the head. A head shot and one chest shot does kill though
It literally says in the attachment description that they increase Limb damage. So i don't understand why you think it's unintentional or something that would be patched. You also lose your headshot multiplier, which is a decent trade in my opinion. Although it's definitely not OP. Using the MP40 my best match in domination using regular attachments was 119 kills. Using the limb damage attachments it was 49 kills. I exclusively aim upper torso and head, so suddenly trying to force myself to Not do that was very annoying since i can't magically undo a decade plus of muscle memory. Not to mention that when i eventually got used to hitting limbs and then switched to a different weapon it was disorienting since i was still trying to aim for limb shots. All in all it's not worth the headache of trying to completely change the way you play for a potential 2 shot kill. You're better off just going for headshots. I mean you need them for camo challenges anyways.

You should do a tommy gun build. I find the recoil to be high and im struggling to find the best build by fixing the recoil, but also not harm the other stats too much

I'm still thinking it's overused and overrated. Considering I was wrecking people with full attachment MP40s with a no attachment NZ41. I think the MP40 only really is consistent and that's why it's good otherwise I think around season one once everyone has maxed everything I think the MP40 is going to fall off but still hold a place in the meta. It simply won't be a top dog or nearly as use.
If you have barrels that increase damage, bullets that increase damage and a perk like vitals that increases damage then you expect each one to do just that. If they don't want them stacked then they shouldn't allow them to be used at the same time. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that stacking these 3 is going to really make that have them kill in 2-3 shots.
Pretty sure arms count as "limbs" and since the majority of the time arms are right in front of the operator holding the gun, I don't think you actually HAVE to aim at legs with the limb build. Just shoot normally (at mid body obviously, not headshots) and you have a great chance of hitting limbs aka arms, along with random shots hitting legs.
If your shot hits a limb AND the torso, it will always default to the torso value. This is great most of the time but not ideal for this Limb Destroyer setup.
I would rather you jump around weapon types to get a good variety of breakdowns to start off. Otherwise (for example) i feel like ill be waiting till may for any sniper gun guides just because of how many weapons there are and the amount of work you need to put in to get these out.

I’ve been loving the Kurz rounds with the hollow point rounds ever since I realised how busted the 2 bullet kill to the limbs can be.
The MP40 is my favourite gun in COD WWII, I’m happy to see that it made a strong comeback in Vanguard.

How does the 8mm rounds work in tandem with the short barrel? Does it make have a 214ms TTK across all ranges?

Recoil booster makes it kill even faster. Also the larger iron sights attachments are amazing. Better than the sights
Recoil booster gives a negligible reduction to TTK.

It's a bug with stacking attachments and very clearly not intentional, just like with the Vital + .30 RS bug.

Probably poorly since its fire rate is low and it's an SMG so it'll have a low DPS and relatively slow bullet velocity.

They don't stack properly

What are the Tac sprint times and ads times with the first stock and first barrel and then either the sprintout underbarrel or the ads underbarrel?
Even though the ROF is slow compared to other SMGs, it is still faster than the real gun which I believe has a ROF of between 500-550 rpm
