Just had an emergency alarm go off in the building. 1:30 am.
I go from sound asleep to fumbling for what I need to leave the room. As a bright light blinks and an annoying beeping is making it so I can’t think.
Charge down 8 flights of stairs (or is it 16?, I think you count this as 8).
Nice fresh air in the parking lot with all of our closest friends 😂 and then walking back up 8 flights of stairs once the firemen have cleared the building and verified it was a false alarm. After my middle of the night aerobic exercise, here I am trying to go back to sleep. 🥱 Did I mention ALL of our closest friends also got up and exercised with us? Cool, cool.
This time around I have everything I need right by the door in case I have to make another quick exit.
Cause well………………. Put it this way. I couldn’t have very well just charged out the door as I was.
There were a couple of things I had to put on first. Just sayin’.
All those friends I was speaking of would have been a whole lot closer had I not done the aforementioned. 🫣
Why have I never thought about this before. 🙄 It is 2:30 now.
Could take a bit to get to sleep now.
I am thankful it was a false alarm. Here is a siren for whoever wants it. There were several out there but I only had time to snag one of them. 🚨 Honestly it should probably go to Lana for the pants comment, but y’all will have to fight for it.
The firemen were too dressed up for me to make an assessment as to whether we have our next models for our calendar. Barry could pose with them. Maybe for one of the summer months. I know, I know we got one of those taken care of with the bikini and all. We will figure this out.

I recorded this video before Christmas Day but decided to hold out and post it as my last video of 2020. It has been a difficult year for us all, some more than others. It was because of time off from singing that I decided to create a RUclips channel back in April but it took me over a month to get up the courage to post anything. I’m so happy I did. It has opened up the world to me and shown me how friendly and supportive people can be. From my very first silly, fun videos that got me my first subscriber, to my ABBA fans, my Dimash Dears, my Angelina angels and my Pentaholics, I want to dedicate the beautiful message of this song to all of you.
THANK YOU.

Ever since this one was released, I can't listen to it without tearing up, especially after this crazy year...which is still going on for many of us. This may very well be the most heartfelt song PTX has ever recorded. And I know they're the best a cappella group in the world, but the addition of Scott's piano and Kevin's cello is perfect for this song. Scott's lyrics are absolutely genius. And I love any video that Kirstie's little Pomsky pup Floof makes an appearance in (he's become quite the social media star in their Behind The Scenes videos)!
The last line is just a punch in the feels and what we all needed this year.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Each lyric is so perfect and so fitting for this past year. It makes me cry like a baby every time I listen to it. It touched me so deeply and made me think of my Hubby and kids and this year we got through that I had the lyrics printed out and mounted in frames with a small message of my own at the end, and had them framed then gave it to each of them for Christmas. Scott and Mark said it all perfectly, exactly how I feel about my family. My way of thanking them for this horrible year they got me through.
The huskies and the little dog are Kirstins doggies, and the labradoodle is Scott and Marks dog. Makes the video even cuter.
This song is SO perfect for this crap show we have lived this last year. This has been a rough year for so many, and what a way to show how we have persevered with those that love us. Thank you.

I really like this song. The lyrics and the melody.
As always, lovely, lovely cello playing from Kevin. I don’t think I have mentioned this before but with stringed instruments, I physically feel them in my chest. There is just something about the vibration of rosined horse hair on strings that produces a visceral response a lot of the time. If I am more than just listening to something in the background, I tend to not only listen to music with my ears but really feel it. Not sure if this happens to everyone.
The melody is beautiful. Definitely makes you think about all the people who helped you get through the past year.
And yes, yes and yes. This is the perfect transition from Thanksgiving to the Christmas season.

More like "emotional" over sentimental. No matter how big of an obstacle we are facing in our lives, this song reminds us to be thankful for all the small things, and the people that helped keep us moving forward.
I can relate to sentimental, not only because of the visons we see in the video reminding us of what Christmas looks like with people we love, (memories, huh?) but my attachment with the song because of the lyrics and you.
If I could bottle my whole life up and pick out the roughest part of it, it was your videos, your goofy laughs and huge smile and the women that I met through you, that got me through it. So yes, some attachment there.

Barry, the first time through you missed a number of things because instead of watching the video you kept spending time looking at the camera.
A truly remarkable song. I love Pentatonix's version of "Amazing Grace", but there is one version that I love even more and it's not Amira Willighagen's, though hers is also impressive. If you are unfamiliar with this artist check her out, but don't start with "Amazing Grace" start with her introduction to the World on Holland's Got Talent, which she won,start with her singing "O Mio Babbino Caro" at age 9, her first performance.

Be sure to include the judges comments before and after she sings, it's important for context. Now the version of "Amazing Grace" that lives up to it's name more than any other version I've heard, in my opinion, is by a college all female A Capella group called BYU Noteworthy. Their harmonies are unbelievable. Another incredible young artist that will knock your socks off is Diana Ankudinova, start with "Wicked Game". You really have been missing some top talent. But the World is a big place so it's hard to find it all. Now for Dimash there is another version of "Screaming" on a show called Idol Hits in which Dimash does something unusual for him, that you must see. And an absolute must to react to for Dimash is a song called "Passione", there's a run in it that you have to hear to believe. May this year be better than the last, it would be hard to be worse.

When I put their Christmas music on the other day she jumped on the sofa and said "blankint" (her word for blanket) and sat listening and cheering after every song....... So sweet.
