Congratulations to Scott and Mark for writing one of the most beautiful songs ever! I agree with you about the "Watch the snow fall down like me sometimes", one of the simplest and yet most genius lyrics of all time. A lot of Pentaholics have agreed that each chorus is giving thanks to different people. Chorus #1 is Scott and Mark thanking each other for their mutual support during 2020, chorus #2 is Scott thanking his bandmates, & chorus #3 is the entire group thanking the fans.
💖👉This song was written by Scott and his boyfriend Mark. Song about surviving a tough 2020 and being Thankful they were there for each other. Also Thankful for his bandmates and A final Thank You to the fans
Tear jerker! I tear up every single time I listen to this one! I think of my husband and it is all over. Scott nailed the vocals and the song writing on this one! Thank you for your reaction! Scott's puppy, Bubba! Love him! Kirstin's doggies, Floof, Pascal & Olaf! Love doggies!
Someone else said this on another site, but this was a love song between Scott and Mark, and their love song to Pentatonix and Pentatonix love song to all of us. I really feel that this year. And thank you to you for you reactions and your music. Making music adds so much to the world.
I like to see three part in that song. The first one Scott said thank you to his boyfriend. The sevond He said thank you to other pentatonix members and the third all pentatonix members said Thank you to all their fans
This song is so beautiful, the parts of the video showing drive thru food pick up, graduation parade for social distancing, care givers in masks and visual learning, and possible video meeting with grand parents just makes me tear up. 2020 was just so hard for so many people and Pentatonix just encapsulates all the good that things to be thankful for in this one little video.
Took me a month of listening to this to finally stop shedding tears. It still brings tears to my eyes they just don't run down my face anymore. I saw a fan video thanking Pentatonix for getting them through tough times and especially 2020 with Thank You playing in the background. That made me ugly cry.
What a year it's been for everyone! If you're lucky to have a friend or loved one who helped you get thru this year, count your blessings and tell them thank you.
I think this Christmas original should become part of the pantheon of regularly played Christmas music because it is that good! Meaningful far beyond 2020 and so beautiful.
This is the best genre and type of songs for Scott his voice is perfect for that and in my personal opinion this is the best PTX song where he shine and show his beautiful voice and how much valuable is he for the group! ;)
Brad, I really enjoy your reactions to PTX. This song is was like a soothing balm on our hurting hearts after the challenging year of 2020, holding our breath about the outcomes of SO many difficult things. PTX using a piano only puts an exclamation mark on how very unusual it was. Releasing the day before Thanksgiving, it reminded me the simple moments in life are to be treasured... a pet, a gift, a snowball fight, a meal, good music, good company. ❤️
I'm glad you got around to this one Brad. I lost my best friend, my wife, in October 2020. This song brings back all of the wonderful memories of her. Thank you for sharing your reaction. 💕
I've watched this video so many times and love it more all the time but that last line just gets me every single time! Thank you for bringing this to us in the middle of summer! It's suppose to be over 100 degrees again today here in upper northwest North Dakota and I can't wait for WINTER!
Thank you for reacting to this again. The message is so beautiful and we need it often. PTX and the great reactions have got us through a lot in these draining times. Thank you.
One of my favorites. I think I cried every time I saw it for a week at first. It’s so powerful and I feel like you really got the song and videos meaning. 👍🏼
This is a forever holiday song in my life. I’ll start playing it for Thanksgiving because it’s about gratitude & cherishing what’s important. The last line about thanking someone for this year you got me thru. That line will have different meanings for future years but for 2020, for the people in our lives that got us thru 2020…they’re worthy of exceptional gratitude. Were you responsible for helping someone get thru 2020? If the answer is no, there’s still time. Share whatever it is you have to give, in whatever way you are able to give. Sometimes remembering to smile or to say a kind word. If you can do more, do more - spread kindness & joy. It’s been a very long day so I hope I’m making even just a little sense. Thanks for the reaction ✌️💚
The title and your cover of Avi's "I'll Get By" reminded me. Are you going to be able to get to Avi Kaplan's "Song for the Thankful" soon? I think you will like it.

I still get goosebumps with that final chorus. And the masterful lyrics. And the gorgeous cello. OK, with all of it!
Makes me reminisce about Xmas past and where we are now. Gets me everytime.
Thanks for this reaction, Brad. It is one of my all time favorites. I love the lyrics and the simple and unassuming backgrounds. I love PTX 💕

First dog is Scott's dog Bubba. The 3 other ones are Kirsten's dogs
An amazing message. It certainly had been quite a year, and this one hasn't been all that much better.

Brad, This is one is the best original Christmas song I heard for along time. A fact note: That dog in the video is Scott owe dog.
And the 3 dogs with Kirsten were her 3 dogs too, Floof, Pascal, and Olaf
Very poignant song. I shed a tear. My family is very fractured so dreading Christmas this year. 😢
First person 🥰 here
