This is the kind of song that can make you cry just because of how it sounds, and then throw in those poignant lyrics and I'm done. What an amazing song. I have listened to it close to twenty times from various reaction vids and I get choked up at different parts of it each and every time. Merry Christmas, and God bless us every one.

Great reaction. The three main vocalists in PTX (Scott, Mitch and Kirsty) have know each other since they were small kids. (8 yrs old for Mitch and Kirsty, !0 yrs old for Scott and Mitch). They are a "family" in a way. They have a bond that has been strong for 20 years now. (10 as PTX). That bond has carried over to the other members of the group, Kevin and Matt. Their behind the scene videos show a very close knit group. It shows in their work. Thanks for you great reactions.
The snowman is similar to the one in their 'Coldest Winter' video - their group is family. Their tour videos (PTXperience ) show how close they really are. They did use some of the chord structure from Jingle Bells - Kevin also played it on the cello before they went to the TV scenes.
Kevin and his wife are one of the couples on the video they play on the TV ☺️

You're not wrong the intro was jingle bells then transitioned to Scott and Marc's new song. Marc is Scott's parner. They composed it together.
