Wow!!! I’m amazed at how fast you can talk when doing the safety briefing and planning a RTO, I’m guessing you learnt to talk very fast from ATC in the real world?
Never talk that fast with ATC - I know some people pride themselves of doing it, but really, all you do is to open yourself up to misunderstandings and lots of repeats.
Funny. I did the same flight today ;) just prayed that my PC didn’t go down with a CTD in VR. The scenery of Maledives is awesome 🤩 Did you tried ever the 777 immersions by parallel //42? Wish you happy flights in real and looking forward to the next cockpit video ✈️☁️☀️
Hello Emi. Thanks for the video. Regarding wind noise. I know it's realistic but I feel it's a bit too much. Most pilots use noise-canceling headphones these days and it does not bother them that the wind noise is so loud. Unfortunately, it's not the case for us flight simmers. We must live what the microphones pick up during recordings. Some people can tolerate it and others not so much. It's not nice to have that constant whoosh sound during a cruise. Maybe you can talk to the devs about it.
most of us want realism. you can turn down your volume if you’re asking for headset simulation, then i agree its something PMDG should simulate as an option
Hi, those noise cancelling headsets not only reduce the volume of the wind, but also everything else. I guess your best bet simulating the ANR effect is by putting some pillows in front of your speakers or so. I don't share the impression that the wind is too loud, that's just how it sounds when you're flying at 900km/h.
May i ask what was the reason for the FIX of OMDB when departing I’m starting to understand ETOPS and FIX rings more but i was just curious why you set that one up, would like to know so i can further my knowledge thanks
I’ve flown this flight IRL and love to do it on the sim now too. Also they continue to Colombo with the same plane and then fly back to Male and Dubai. The Male Colombo Male leg is a nice short hop for the 777.
I flew this one with LTU (back in 2005) from EDDL to VCBI. On the return flight it was: VCBI-VRMM-EDDL. In the simulator I like to fly the leg VCBI-VRMM, because this approach is so beautiful (rest of the flight is a bit meh...). But Emi didn't forget this LTU-captain with his nice instructions 🙂. If you, as you said, would like to fly from or to VRMM then I would suggest to fly this one with the A320 from or to VCBI (Colombo) for example with SriLankan. I'm really curious how you would fly this one.
Hi there. As you are a REAL pilot, would it be possible for you at some point to do a dedicated video on the weather radar ? I am using the A300-600 mostly at the moment and struggle to understand the difference between the WX / WX and Turbulence modes. I also have no idea what the radar tilt should be at ! Just wondering. Many Thanks.
The WX is currently not simulated, you get a 2D top down view of the clouds but it has little to do with an actual radar, therefore tilting doesn’t change anything at all. It also makes it pretty much useless, so at night, landing lights are your WX. lol
We'll see, depends on what will happen to tomorrows standby duty. If they call me for a flight I probably won't be able to cover the A300 for the closer future, if not then I might have the chance.
Wanted to ask a question which probably is obvious to most people but here we go xD Do real pilots also have the option to be able to load in route etc automatically into the FMC? Or do they always do it manual
Hi, depends on a lot on the facilities offered by the airline. For example in my first airline we always had to type the route in manually. At my current airline we uplink it.
@@A330Driver yeah I missed the extra app on the UFT😅. Thats why I noticed. Just visited the Maldives yesterday. I want to go on vacation too man😄😄 Have a great rest of your day😉👍 Mark
Hey Emanuel. Short question is it possible to turn off the gpws warning in the pmdg 737 just like on the fenix? Coz on some airports like DUS you get the a glideslope warning due to a bug or so. Regards
Hi, it depends on the type of fuel they uplift. To simplify: North America gives you Jet-A, so you enter -37. The rest of the world Jet-A1, for which you use -44.
Loved the emergency briefing! lol can definitely see that how it goes after a couple times
hahaha, at some point it became a challenge who can do their part faster ;-)

@@A330Driver I've found a better option. By using my sound mixer and turn down the 1000hz and 1850hz band, it's much better.

Hey Emi, loved the video. What is cruise CG and how do you know that it’s 30? Is it a predefined value? Company/aircraft specific?
Idk whether you would understand the music but it was too good that too with Emirates

nice! is a large ramp enough for the 777?
Let's just call it the "E"minem briefing from now on! 😂💪👍
😂
Just flew that rout on Thursday
On the nose cam the approach looked better, but the smoothness was similar
Hey Emi! I am your first comment! (Again!)
Hey ho! That was quick!
Also, great Indian music during cruise!
How do you talk to the ground crew using your voice, that is new and how did you did it
Also, may I ask what you are using reference your ATC comms ?
What FPS where you getting during the flight,
I got 57 - Limited them there
I get constant freezes crashes low fps during flights.

I recorded it with the beta version - everything the same except for the QR code for the manual that was not implemented with the beta.

You can inhibit certain modes on the ground proximity panel below the FO’s ND
The bug is JustSim's incompetence.
