Very nice! Btw the real flight routings avoid Kabul FIR (Afghanistan) almost exclusively, so they’ll route south through Tehran FIR (Iran). Previously they avoided Tehran FIR during the peak of the conflict but nowadays so they’d route much further north but no more anymore. Also it is a cargo-heavy route but 30 tonnes is a bit overkill 😂, they cruise at FL300 initially so 15-20 tonnes or so might be more reasonable. Also the more premium-heavy config of the SIA aircraft means each seat would be slightly heavier than the economy seats, and pax are more likely to carry heavier bags (though not so much in the summer as it is right now).
Yeah and the SimBrief “top route” was from the old days where they used 02R/20L out of Singapore which only had radar SIDs so the flight plan would be as you filed. Nowadays it’s the relevant SID then AROSO Y513 KALIL.
Also one of the “gotchas” departing out of Singapore is the max 230 knots below 4000 speed restriction on all the SIDs - it’s easily missed because it’s below the name of the SID and not a waypoint restriction. Real pilots often miss it too - just have a look at the Air France cockpit videos departing Singapore lol.
I think they’re slowly opening up that corridor. I’ve noticed BA and Singapore flights overflying Afghanistan
Atarium's liveries are really something else. I had been using his stuff even before he got featured by Fenix as one of their default livery contributors. He really has an eye for details like no one else.
If there was a flightsim award for best paintjob 2024 his Emirates 777 would win.
Captain: "Ground, parking brake released. Ready for push!"
Ground: "He did say pull? Right, right?"
Ground: "Roger, executing pullback! 🙂"
Lets go Singapore mentioned! Good one xia

1 hour a go a 777 latam(sao paolo) tail strike at take off from Malpensa, then i saw fuel dump around airport and then landing, but run 35 l is close
another great video- always learning something new all the time
I like how you sat down in a business class seat to go through the pre-flight. Nice touch!
The video I was waiting for with the exact same flight 😊
Amazing and perfect video except the pushback 🤣
Great video man!! :)
Love your videos
28:16 That's a twist. A new method of ejecting aircraft👍😁
push back part was freaking hilarious (commenting for the first time)
Yes it was (this is not my first comment)
Indeed (not my first time)
Nice flight!
Beautiful video!! Really want to see more of these kinds of videos! Maybe some with the MD11 too?!
Nice video as usual!! That pushback by GSX tho😂 Are you using a GSX profile for WSSS?
Great video as always! It would be cool to see you simulate some of the GPS spoofing / outages that occur currently over the Middle East and Ukraine areas. I'd love to hear the thought process of a real airline pilot dealing with a situation like that.
“Honestly wouldn’t surprise me, it’s GSX”
GSX procedes to do the rosy pushback of all time
What I somehow miss about those long haul videos is being „talked down“ towards the end. I mean it takes quite some time until we get airborne and to our cruise level. Then however, coming to the ToD you do the briefing and preparation and accelerate the flight again before eventually slowing it down when on a downwind. I’d love to see a little bit more of the arrival as it puts me into some sort of an destination mood i.e. now it time for landing.
oh my god ! to much technology !thanks for this immersive flight .
Love your content! How do you have the VDGS working?
Actually where GSX eventually stopped is close to one of the possible pushback position for that gate, but the way it got there was.......interesting to say the least. ( The idea for facing west is to keep taxiway V clear once pushback is completed )
That pushback was indeed something. But I guess that was just the default pushback with GSX trying to understand the AFD the developer built and not a customized Airport Profile.
where did you get that livery? looks amazing
Nice video as always
For future video idea: Air France 77W Paris-Los Angeles.
Really enjoy your videos, especially the briefings and discussions on procedures.
Do you have a list of addons you're currently using (e.g. ActiveSky)?
Great video Emi,
One question will you use //42 777 fx, and can it affect the flight characteristics.
Thank you so much,
Brayden
Great flight. I did the same approach into London from Dubai the other day and flew on the star you had programmed. 3 little waypoints left and my sim froze up completely. Irritated to say the least. 😂
Amazing video as always. I have a question, how long before the flight do you start the briefing at the airport for a long haul, and how long before the off block time do you board the aircraft in a long haul flight ? Same question for short haul if it is different.
Not sure if you know this, but did you know that pressing the GSX symbol closes the software every time?
They recommend using the hotkeys to use and hide it.
🎉🎉
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Speaking to passengers: ‘we expect a smooth flight today’
Briefing earlier: ‘Embed CB most of the way, always below the tropopause, might be quite bumpy a lot of the way’
You don't want to scare them before a 13 hour flight, do you?
When you click on disarm all doors is there any reason all doors change to an open option - except E5 left and right which shows the ARM option? 1:38:47
do you have news for xbox release? love you videos!
They are ironing out the bugs on PC first, and then it needs to go through the process of getting accepted to the marketplace, so it will be some time before that happens.
Shouldn’t you use VREF+5 when using the autothrottle, regardless of the wind, as stated in the FTCM?
How did you get the monitor in front of the plane, which also helps with parking?
After flying fenix with fs2crew for some time it was quiet getting used to the flows when i am solely one pilot. Hopping they release the fo soonish
I have to admit, I never really got warm again with FS2Crew's addons since I fly in the real world. There's just no flexibility in them. I hope that changes one day!
@@A330Driver same, they are strict af in the use cases but it adds immersion for me
Do you use the Cloudsurf Singapore or Imaginesim? and do the Jetways at Changi work with GSX?
How do you do step climb? Is it auto option or ...?
Amazing thank you! Curious - did you actually spend 13 hours filming this? Or less given time acceleration? Even so, would have been a long time
I used 4x acceleration filming it and the entire video took about four hours.
@@A330Driver wow, thanks. Still a lot of work - but I know I speak for many when I say that I’m really appreciative of all your work and efforts on these videos. I’ve learnt more than I ever thought possible with regards to aviation thanks to you
“Quick 13 hour flight) 😂
How long was the whole thing with time Accel?
Hey emi, any update on the marketplace release?
pls do more SQ SIN-XXX flights
Watched this at x2 speed so my ADHD could handle it.
Hey emanuel thank you so much for your great training videos just have a question: when the aircraft is light for a short haul flight ie: 220T the VNav mode takes climbing rate over 5000 fps that is pretty uncomfortable for passengers is that a bug or normal and if normal have we take VS speed mode instead of VNav or FLCH? Thank you
I was gonna ask the same thing! Happens to me too.
@@jamesbp and did you get some answer?
This is NOT the full flight.
@A330Driver is it true that Oceanic clearances are going away at the end of the year? What are your thoughts?
They will not go away, but they want to change the system so that the new “clearance” will simply be “flight planned route or as amended by ATC”. You still need to send the “request” though. BIRD uses the system already and I flew through it a few times, it works great!
However… they meant to implement it back in March or April already and had to delay it to December. I wouldn’t count on them not delaying it again 😅
@@A330Driver interesting! I wonder if VATSIM will follow suit when it does happen. Be an awesome topic on a future video.
Do you operate A330s with Centre tanks? Those ones can carry up to 110t of A1.
Some with and some without. In any case the centertank is almost useless, with a full load of passengers and some cargo you'll reach MTOW before the wing tanks are even full. That's why a good part of our fleet does not even have the center tank installed in first place.
@@A330Driver I know some later Weight Variants (WV08X) have a higher MTOW of 242t, maybe that helps? Those CF6 A332s in the fleet can definitely not carry this much :(
what is your cockpit camera height and zoom sir?
Height is unchanged, default. Zoom 0.6
i know your a real world pilot but is it really necessary to go around all those clouds like the wisp at the end which was tiny personally i feel it would not have done anything i may be wrong
It's not "necessary", but those would cause some bumps to go through the aircraft - and if you can avoid those easily, why not do it?
@@A330Driveryeah yeah fully get you just wondering if was not calling you out i was just asking. Thanks for uploading your amazing content really enjoy watching it
Were you using FSTL traffic on EGLL? What’s the magic to get enough fps? Your plane did taxi very smooth
he got a like a monster pc with a 4090 and 7950X3D
14900k*@@rezaomar3397
@@rezaomar3397 believe me! I have a monster pc and I get 10 fps at EGLL, KJFK or KLAX with the FSTL on
@@hendrixgonzalez7515 oh then I am not sure?? Msfs is just terribly optimised, hopefully msfs 2024 will be better
@@hendrixgonzalez7515me too but you can have active IFR traffic on 20 with rest 50 - 70 on absolutely parked your performance should be super smooth
GSX being a complete shit show as always. At some point Umberto needs to pay us to use and test his crappy sofware
it costs 30 bucks and works at any airport with any airplane. the turn must have been tight this is why i download airport profiles or modify cause sometimes the default afcad causes issues. for 30 bucks even with all this i say it's still a good product
@@denziiey I know. I just like to rag on GSX because there's also A LOT of stuff wrong with it that hasn't been fixed since the FSX/P3D versions.
It's good software, but that doesn't mean I can't criticise it. Bugs, User Interface, Support are just some of the things I hate about GSX.
@blancfilms Umberto is also a dick. I look at how they respond on forums and omg. We've been asking about the water and cleaning truck for over a year now and he said they prioritize what people ask for. Well....we've been asking for those 2 additional services. Cause if MSFS2024 has walking passengers what's the use of gsx? Also the interface to edit airports and airplanes is abysmal. How did toolbar figure out such an easy push back interface and on gsx you have to mess around with arrow keys. Lol so I understand the frustrations but at the end of the day I can go to any airport and have full immersion with ground equipment and for that I still support them.
@@denziiey I agree 100%
This is definitely not the right dir.... oh, hello! 🤣🤣
