For context, I use Figma extensively for heavy tasks-working with multiple animations, creating apps, and managing 6-7 tabs simultaneously while also doing parallel video editing. It handled everything without slowing down, which honestly shocked me. The best thing about it is its portability and performance. That said, I’d recommend waiting for the M4 chip, which is expected to launch in March. It’ll bring even more power and capabilities, so the wait will be worth it! Unfortunately, I haven’t worked with Photoshop or Illustrator, so I can’t speak to those specifically. But with the M4 chip and an entry-level configuration starting at 16GB RAM (and going up to 24GB), I’m confident it’ll be perfect for demanding creative workflows. Hope this helps!
@@TechTalkwithPaul thanks for the answer! i dont have cash enough to buy a mbp m4 so im thinking about to buy a mac mini m4 or macbook air m2 16gb 512gb. i dont know yet
@@noodlyy If you need a device for Figma and Photoshop, it’s definitely desktop work. I would strongly recommend getting a Mac Mini with the M4 chip. Especially if you’re in the USA, Costco currently has an amazing deal-you can get it for around $499 I believe for a new it was on black friday. The base model comes with the M4 chip and 16GB of RAM, which is incredibly powerful for such a low price. It’s an amazing entry-level option. For something portable, you could consider even a MacBook Air with the M1 or M2 chip. They’re quite affordable now, and you can find a used one for $600-$700, which would be more than enough for most tasks. However, I would highly recommend going for the latest M4 chip. The Mac Mini M4 is an excellent and powerful choice right now. While the M2 chip is still capable, it’s starting to feel outdated. Getting something newer, like the Mac Mini M4, would be a great investment for both performance and future-proofing
I just purchased mine silver though. I did listen to your advice on the previous video about apple Black Friday deal . 😊 thank you .

I know you’re not interested in the 16 inch, but are you avoiding the 14 MBP because the screen is too small?
@@ezquiet yes(( that’s the main reason. Other than that it’s a great machine
