- Searching for the holy grail of eye creams?
Now as many of you know, I’m a fan of Dr Sam Bunting. I don’t pretend otherwise. In fact, I would consider her a good friend of mine (despite not ever meeting each other) so when I got the chance to try her new eye cream I was all in. In came with one single caveat - ‘tell the truth’. Thats all Sam asked of me.
Its now been 4 weeks since I started using it. All my darkness has not resolved (yet) BUT what has happened is the amount of hydration under my eyes. Something else that happened - Milia, started going away. Those little rough white pimples. Started going. This is one of the few active eye creams out there. Most are just great hydrators but few actually contain active ingredients. This contains three: 2% Granactive Retinoid, 5% Niacinamide and 2% Ascorbyl Glucoside.
Will I be continuing to use it? YES. Once gone (you get about 2 months in each bottle) I will repurchase. And then again.

Me too! Her Brightly serum helped so much with damage from retin A. I had enlarged pores and uneven skin for 6 years and nothing helped until her serum.
Paula's Choice new eye Resist anti aging eye gel has the same exact ingredients in their product.
As far as I know, olive oil derivatives (there are 2) are no more beneficial than other types of oil - and may be less beneficial in fact. Apart for actual prescription retinoids (the molecules of which are small enough to penetrate into the dermis and replenish the collagen beneath wrinkled areas) there are no topicals that can remove wrinkles. The only benefit of topical moisturizers is to hydrate the skin’s top layers - which merely improves the appearance of wrinkled skin. I would want to see Before-and-After non-retouched photos prior to purchasing this eye cream.
I got a huge irritation from retinol so I’m afraid to experiment now. Sounds good tho.

Actually, I was married to a gay man. (I’m a heterosexual female.) I didn’t know he was gay. It lasted five years. Had its benefits. And he’s my best friend now, so there’s that. I think it could work with Dr. Sam. Short term anyway.😉 I’m just kidding. It was very hard work and so tough to get where we are today. But I can now say he is one of the best things that ever happened to me. Sad story. Happy ending.

After watching this video about 6 weeks ago, I ordered and started using this Dr Sam eye cream. OH. MY. GOD. I can't believe how amazing it is. Absolute game-changer. I've always used very good skin care brands but this one is the first where I not only noticed a difference right away, it actually improved my under eye area like no other product has ever done. I had noticeable milia that was nearly impossible to cover up-even with concealer-now, I barely notice it on bare skin. Lines, wrinkles, darkness-practically invisible. I'm 50 years old and I look and feel fantastic.

Long-term reviews are the best! They’re so hard to find but reveal so much about a product. There’s no other way to see if a product has short-term adjustment considerations, long-term issues, and genuine payoff.
Hey Wayne 🤚🏻 After a decade of really tough times and not caring what she looked like, my mother has started feeling good about herself again, and wants to wear makeup again. She’s a bit taken aback by all the advancements in makeup, and in her skin; as the last time she wore makeup, she was younger and her skin was smoother. I told her about your channel and how you have a lot of ‘Over 40’ tips for makeup application. Would you consider putting those videos all in one playlist so it’s easy for people who need those tips to access them quickly? 😉

Wayne, I’ve used the Dr Sam’s full regime for over 1 year and it’s been transformative! I’ve only just started a different prescriptive skincare ahead of my wedding, but I’ll be going back to Dr Sam’s straight after, I love it!!!
Can I get these products in the stores ? Ross Burlington Walgreens CVS etc or is it only sold on line? Yes it's such a bomb gift when we find products that truly work for our face.

@@leximorris9000 They absolutely would! I have use the whole line; Cleanser, Brightly, Nightly, both moisturisers (lighter one for the day, richer one for the night but you may get in with the richer one all round if you have mature skin) plus the Daily Sunscreen.

I would definitely appreciate a dedicated 6 month review of a certain skincare. That way any hype can be discussed, even though what works on your skin, won't necessarily work on others.

I jumped online and ordered a jar. Wayne has never lead me astray. The Ordinary chemical peel (AHA 30%, BHA 2% & Salicylic acid 2%) has been amazing for my skin. I have absolute confidence this will be amazing too. Thank you!

I would love a long term trial. I have used Dr Sam's skincare and I can say it's awesome! I was struggling with peri-oral dermatitis and Dr Sam's skincare was the only thing I could use when I was rebuilding my skin barrier. The tinted SPF, mineral, is fabulous! I haven't tried the eye cream yet so I am thankful you shared it.

I'm using Dr.Sam's products since years and get every new product too. My skin looks beautiful! Her range is perfect. I have a very dry under eye area and love the eye cream by Paula's choice. But surely I'll get Dr.Sam's for the nights😍

I would like to see a 6 month review of Dr. Sam's line. It sounds like a great product and since I am currently looking for a retinoid for my eye area, I will purchase this. I also believe that you are being honest and sincere with your knowledge when it comes to the cosmetic industry. I find it incredible confusing and quite overwhelming to navigate through the mass amounts of products out there on the market and I don't believe I am alone in this. There is so much misinformation out there and after awhile I just throw up my hands and say forget it. I personally distrust many products that are available mainly because of the claims from manufacturers. I often question...Is what is listed on the bottle really what is in there? Yes, there maybe retinol but is it good quality or is it a derivative? Is there enough in there to do any good or just enough so that it can be labeled a retinol product by cosmetic industry standards? Can you use products with retinol in conjunction with vitamin C or niacinamide or ??? Some say no but then I find products that have ingredients combined. I like that this is a product that is made by a dermatologist and that the product is backed by science. I also believe that most Dr.s want the best for their patients and won't put their name on a product that won't deliver which is another reason for me to give this product a try.
Go for it…. I’d love to see this review in 6 months. I have only just come across Dr Sam. Have very dry skin. I find creams rich and sometimes pilling on my skin. Love to know what her moisturiser is like. Thank you x
Nice ingredients indeed! Actually I use these ingredients under my eyes and I noticed some improvents. I am 43 yrs old with fair skin and I am a smoker. I use niacinimide of the ordinary or make up revolution 10or 15%, drunk elephant retinoid cream , and serums like estee lauder 's or charlotte tilbury's and then the beautiful eye creams of la mer or Charlotte's. During the day instead of retinoid I use vitamin c serum. My skin is firmer and smoother and fine lines are much better. Darkness almost gone and fine lines are a bit smoother almost invisible after putting the creams on. Lancome has an excellent concealer that doesn' t crease by the way. So I guess this cream must work. All in one! Good job!

Brilliant! I would love to see a 6 month review of her skin care from you! I tend to stick with my products once purchased because I don’t have the money to go and purchase the latest and greatest until I use up what I have? If that makes sense. I'd like to find a product that deals with open pores & skin tightening. I'm coming up to my 65th b/day & even though I have always, ALWAYS taken care of my skin and get so many compliments about it, I still feel the need to update/change my routine every year just to be able to keep on top of the changes that happen as skin ages.

For now I use the Peter Thomas Roth retinol eye cream but would be interested in having other alternatives 😊

I ordered this after you featured it. I LOVE it! It feels really good after you apply it. I can definitely tell when I put it on that it is working.
Is it still working for you? I've been using it for two weeks and I feel like the area is less hydrated and have more visible lines. Curious what others are saying. Most people are only commenting they like the review, haven't seen many people post their own experiences.

Yes, I would love to see the out come, like a picture or mention the products at the end of your usual videos with a close up to your face so we can see the progress within the 6 months but how it progresses every 2 weeks if there is a difference or not. Love your videos, I save them and refer back to them for a lot of things. Your skin always looks great and I am 46 and have so many different creams and serums detoxifying masks, vitamin infused eye serum for the morning moisture sprays through the day plumping serum and honestly I'm always looking up which one to put 1st to last at night and morning but they only tell you the basics not the extra stuff. So if you have a skincare routine and it woks I would be forever grateful to see it I know EVERYONE would... thanks for sharing please 🙏let us know how it goes
