- The Secrets of the Maw DLC for Little Nightmares tells the tragic tale of a character known as the Runaway Boy. This DLC 'The Depths' tells a story parallel to that of the original Little Nightmares and even intersects with Six's path at points. In this first of a 3 part playthrough we navigate our way to the very depths of the Maw, where a sinister aquatic woman known as The Granny stalks us below the waters surface. Can we escape this final nightmare?

I love how they made the all-seeing eyeball the exact same shape as Six's raincoat hood and hood opening. Its such a great piece of symbolism so early on in the game.

while watching videos on the little nightmares DLCs I noticed that the girl who dropped her flashlight had brown hair with a braid, the same as the girl in the yellow rain coat. in that part of the timeline six had her coat so that would explain why she didn't have it. Just a little interesting theory. Love the video's so much pls keep making them.
I watched the revisiting little nightmares, and I loved it. I always love watching people play it for the first time, while it wasn't the first time playing, it was great to watch more again :)

One thing I noticed in little nightmares 2 demo is that the hunters arn is filled with stuffing
Does anyone here also think that the runaway boy is Mono? or is it just me? It could be possible.
The only reason i think that is because he does look a little bit bigger than Six and he is the only other playable character in these games. (He doesn't show his face but i don't really know if that says anything though we do see Mono with a paper bag as a mask in the second game) Also the flashlight he picked up from that girl, seems like is in the concept art for the second game and such. That's just my thought on this c:

It’s interesting that the Runaway Boy having nightmares of the Granny means he’s seen her before but escaped.

This DLC still baffles me because the girl you follow just up and vanished once you find her flashlight. It LOOKS to imply that she died from an unexpected leech that you run into after obtaining the flashlight. But at very end of the chapter, if you stare at the Knomes' shadow, one of them that follows you around looks exactly like the girl you were chasing after in the beginning.
How did she become a Gnome? How did the rest of the children even become Gnomes without running into The Lady since she's not present to cast her spell on them in a secluded area of the Maw?
What I can assume from this is this: She could be dead or the Tower is, and has stated 'that it can warp people's minds or realities and make you see what isn't there' so the girl isn't physically there, she's just a figment of the boy's imagination . You don't rlly see her face and she keeps a certain distance from you as you follow her until you reach the entrance to the flooded area of the Maw below.
This might be a pour attempt on the Devs' part because they once stated that they weren't planning to make a DLC, at first. So when they changed their decision, they probably didn't know how to proceed with a reason why the boy would want to go deeper into the Maw, because there wasn't one. But if there was, maybe LN2 will shed some light on this.

I am late to playing Little Nightmares and I actually played the second one first, but haven’t beaten it yet, but then there was a sale on the first one so I got it and I have beaten Six’s part but working through The Kid now and thank you for this. The Granny always freaks me out every time the hand reaches for me 😂
