I love your channel, it's great and extremely useful! I took the CAE exam in January and I passed! Your channel helped me a lot to reach that goal! Thank you!!!
Recycling has a positive impact on the environment. Btw 8/10 just because I didn't pay attention to N. 3...it really took me by surprise, when I realized there could be this kind of subtle mistake at the exam :D. Excellent video , as always, the I improve the faster I learn about mistakes I make, thank you a million for your help!
Hi! Thank you so much for your great grammar class. I love grammar as it's absolutely necessary to speak correctly. Nothing beats grammar! Keep it up, and break your leg. 🌟🌷
Regarding the sentence no. 9... I've learned that 'need of' is correct in some cases, it doesn't have to be 'need for', i.g. if I say 'I'm in need of' it means that I'm lacking sth, whereas 'to have a need for' means that I have a requirement for sth. I'm in need of a new jacket (I don't have a jacket and should buy one). I have a need for a new jacket (Maybe I have a jacket, but I desire to buy a new one). Therefore, my question is, why is it wrong to say 'need of' here? Maybe if I say "People are in need of drinking water in many placed around the world", it would be acceptable? Unfortunately, I haven't studied sentence structure since high school... =)
First of all thank you for these videos, they really are clear and useful. I'll sit my CPE in a couple of days and am trying to test myself up to the last moment! One little remark, if I may - in one of your "correct examples" you wrote "canceled", but I'm pretty sure that this word is written with double l - cancelled. Again, please don't take offence, I noticed it because I began doubting my version and looked it up ;) Thank you again and Ciao! from Italy
Hello Bianca! Thanks! Good luck with the exam! I tend to use the American spelling and in American English it's spelled with one l. So both spellings are correct. 😉
Hi! Just a brief reply to tell you I made it to C2 with an A grade. Your tips were very useful to me, especially those for the written part. To say thank you, I'll subscribe right away. Ciao from Italy :)
A good piece of advice- I was thought about that one. Some good advice is also correct. Some shreds/bits/pieces of advice - I also thought about this option too. 2. Nice one preposition + wether Can you tell us when we can use wether and if interchangeably? I think spellings mistakes aren't as bad as grammar mistakes.
Hello, I don't understand number 10. The correct is without "T" that's a verb, but you say that is a noun with "T"... Help please! complaint n -denuncia f · queja f · reclamación f · querella f · reclamo m · recurso m complain v -quejarse v · protestar v · reclamar v · lamentar v · lamentarse v · objetar v
Please share your score with me :)
9/10 I didn't know about to use of a preposition + whether. Great!
It's tricky! Well done, Marco! 🏅

Hello! Could you explain further why "spent" is wrong?
Please could you tell me the question number?
@@englishbits #5 spent such a great time ☺
It's a collocation: to have fun/to have a good time. 😉
@@englishbits okay. Hmmm, can i also add "whether or not" in #2? Or "..turning out okay or not."
Yes, you can say "whether or not".
Thank you very much for your lessons. They always come in useful.
Thanks so much, Federico! One little correction: "come in handy" 😀

Hi! You are right! You can say to be in need OF sth when you are in a difficult situation or sth needs to be repaired. 😉

2. Nice one preposition + wether

I think spellings mistakes aren't as bad as grammar mistakes.
Hello! For example, in conditionals but there are a lot more situations. So I'd better make a video on this aspect. Thanks for your comment! 😁
just recently descovered your chanel. Love it! May I ask you a personal question? What is your mother tongue?
Sure, my mother tongue is Russian. 😄
in 4th sentence, could we use attributed to instead of due to
Yes, I think it would be alright. 😉
Recycling does a positive impact on the environment
The correct answer is recycling HAS a positive impact on the environment. 😉
@@englishbits thank you for your answer
In sentence 8, could it also be possible to place array ? e.g. There´s such an array of cakes in this café
instead of the choices you gave ?
Thanks :)
Hello! Yes, you can also say "array" or "assortment".
Well this summer i have my FCE exam but i am scared😏
You still have plenty of time to study!! 💪
@@englishbits yeah thanks for your support 😊
Hello
8 out of 10, not too bad.
That's great, Cris! Happy I can still teach you something. 😄
I need to improve much more, and you are a good teacher.
Thanks! 😄
I got 10/5. I passes CAE a long time ago, luckily they didn't ask me any of your sentences. Haha 😂
😂😅 Are you studying for the CPE?
4 out of 10 😁
Pretty good! 😄

Hello Monica! I've just seen your comment! To complain is a verb and with "t" a complaint is a noun.
2 out of 10😨
The level is high so the result is quite good! 😀
Not makes but has
Correct! 😃
Recycling has a positive impact on the environment, be that as it may, lingua franca. all of us were born with a downside,, so stop mumbling. good job
