I tried 5/8x24 thread. It will kind of thread on, but it's not as secure. If you compare it to an actual 5/8x24 thread, you'll see the one on the trail is not as secure. I personally wouldn't trust it to hold, but if it works for you, go for it.
I pick mine up Monday and have a couple optics laying around. A p4xi 1-4 and a t6xi 2.5-15 which do you feel is the better choice? The t6 is a heavy scope at 32oz without mount so I'm wondering if that defeats the purpose of being a lightweight rig. Also im pretty sure the USA one is threaded 1/2 28 you Canadiens must get the euro 15-1
I don't hike around here. If you do hike with a rifle, you have to make sure your area allows you to. If I was really out there on a wilderness hike, I would take a rifle with me. If I was on a popular trail, no.
Just came across your channel and watched some of your videos. Great info. Quick question. Between the CZ 600 Trail and MRX Bison, which do you prefer? Im looking for a bolt action in 223 and deciding between the two.
@@fredmyers485 Ich checked 77 Grain Sierras with 18,5 Grain N130 and the accuracy is very good, around 2,5 cm on 100 Meter! I am sure, the Trail will be able to reach under 2 cm. On the test range I had no opportunity to use my bipod properly. Next test will be with 69 grain Sierras and 68 grain Hornadys with a powder range between 18 and 21 grain N130.
Love your channel man, thanks for doing what you do! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Good luck with completing the move. Like the content.
without a doubt an excellent rifle for a shooter on the move, very small very cute
Good luck with your shool!
Hello from the u.s I just picked this rifle up in 7.62x39 for deer season this year seems quite accurate for what it is light compact whitetail slayer
I think mine might be 5/8×24 thread pitch
It's not. 5/8-24 is very close, but it's not the right thread. If you go to CZs website you'll see the pitch it's in.
Ok thank's cause I can use a brake on it
@@bats8888update I had a 5/8×24 brake laying around and mine is indeed 5/8×24 it threaded on no problems

300 blk is available at the moment...
US version in .300 is 5/8x24 fortunately.

I think the 1-4 is probably more suited to the Trail.
Do you ever carry a rifle while hiking? Do ppl every say anything to you if you do?

I much prefer the trail. The only thing the Bison has over the trail is 20 round mags.
@@bats8888 Thanks. That where I'm leaning as well.
Can you check the accuracy with 77 Grain ammo?
I'll see what I can find locally
As far as mine is concerned, the accuracy sucks ass with anything other that 75 grainers.
