I think it gives them of a personal struggle we could relate too. But I find it funny how a lot of Space Marines are known as the 'tallest' or 'largest' because all authors want a tall lad!
The issue with saying Tyberos’ terminator armor is custom, is that all terminator armor is custom.* The suits are sized to their wearer when they first put it on. That’s been in the lore for ages, and it’s the reason it pisses me off post-10th edition when they said “yea, Primaris can wear Terminator armor”… when there was never a stipulation they couldn’t. The suits can be scaled down for humans or scaled up for chonky space marines like Holguin or the Custodes. **unless custom refers to his weapons, which are the only custom thing on his armor since it’s just sized up to fit a big boy

The thing about Tyberos the Red Wake is that some people get confused by his Terminator armor being called Tactical *Dreadnought* Armor, and think it is an extra large suit of Terminator armor incorporating Dreadnought components... They simply don't *GET* the idea that Terminator armor is referred to, as Tactical Dreadnought Armor...
I don't see these fellows as mutated, but rather highly compatible with the gene-seed. There has to be people who win the genetic lottery in this universe who can take on more traits of their respective primarchs and that shows.
You forgot the part about Tiberos "The Red Wake" where his custom terminator plate is made out of altered dreadnought armor. Im sure everyone already knows that but I still like to hear people say it.

Moloch was so large and intimidating it made even a custodian uncomfortable Edit: Forgot to mention he’s a marine murderer, his entire chapter is dedicated to the destruction of rogue chapters the high lords of Terra have deemed too dangerous or heretical. He fought alongside Tyberos during the Badab War
Alpha Primus - prototype Primaris Marine, developed as character in Belisarius Cawl - Great Work. Pasanius Lysane - best friend of Captain Uriel Ventris. Ranulf the Strong - legendary as biggest Space Wolf, tall as a primarch.

Wolfblade... That was the very first book on Space Wolves (and Ragnar) i read... Aaaand, of course, almost got to tears from laughing at Haegr's "genius"...
It's not his usage of Thunderhammer in most unusual ways, that got me...
It was, from an another book, when he pulls out a barrel of.... Waaaait for it....
Fenrisian ale, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAMP, of the lost 13th Company (Wulfen). The way he bitched and moaned when he had to share it, got my stomach aching
sahan kinda reminds me of 99 from the clone wars born deformed allowed to live and given a purpose to still try and help his battle brothers in any way he can
I think it gives them of a personal struggle we could relate too. But I find it funny how a lot of Space Marines are known as the 'tallest' or 'largest' because all authors want a tall lad!
The issue with saying Tyberos’ terminator armor is custom, is that all terminator armor is custom.*
The suits are sized to their wearer when they first put it on.
I woulda liked to se my boy GABRIEL ANGELOS Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens XD
Tovag Tor from Night Lords had one arm since birth and he was outfitted with artificial arm, which constantly was rejected by his body.
Being a 5'7" musclebound dwarfmaxxer myself, I can't help but put Maxx Voss as my #1. Emperor Bless Him. Makes me want to work even harder. Talos was one of my favorite characters in all of 40k though...
On the topic of the Heresy era Ultramarines being 300,000 strong - while it's not explicitly stated, it's implied that this is the result of them absorbing the remains of the two "Lost" Legions (the second and the eleventh). You know, the ones that were scrubbed from history entirely for whatever unmentionable sin their Primarchs committed?
I would like to note You forgot the entire Black Dragons chapter because of their weird gene-seed that makes them become HALF DRAGON SUPER SOLDIERS WITH RETRACTABLE BONE ARM CLAWS, HORNS AND FUCKING CRAZY BERSERKER MONSTER DEAGON MEN THAT RELEASED ONTO THE BATTLEFIELD TO DIE A WARRIORS DEATH WHILE IN A BLACK-RAGE TYPE FERNZY BECAUSE THEY MUTATED SO BADLY THAT THEY ARE INSANE
P.S they are my favorite chapter of spaces along side the space sharks and wolfs (please don’t be for nothing) also I’m not sure I got everything correct but I hope I did and if I didn’t please let me know👍)
Inconsistent size is not terribly uncommon from what I can tell. That's why I put in the lore of my homebrew chapter that the chapter champion, despite being first born, is bigger than a primaris. He's almost as big as a custodes.
If night lords had modern minis, they’d be my army. I would kit bash but don’t have the time nor money
I love vids like this!you definitely need to do more.also more videos about lesser known chapters.also your opinion on if the lion will reforge his lion from the unforgiven chapters.
Voss ASK? He was ORDERED to stop. Great list though
WHEN RED CORSAIRS!?
YEAH! WHO LET BLACKHEART LIVE AND WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT FOR THIS VID?! HM?!
they are in the Warp, if I remember correctly.
@@ГеоргийГерасимов-ю8н Ehh...some of them. They do a lot of weird dealing in and out of the Warp. Just like proper pirates, they stay in the shadows.
"You ever seen that 5'6" guy in the gym..."
I feel called out.
Haegr is basically Volstaag from Thor
Look, who doesn’t like having a nice human skin cloak for their Night Lords. I would love to do one
Haegir was clearly a pisstake of Obelisx from the Asterix comics and Novella, loved him in the Ragnar series 😢😊
Endryd Haar 👌 you should check him out in the black shields novels and in the siege of Terra. He’s another one of the chunky bois but he’s one of my favorite characters ever
- Plz stop lifting.
- No.
Personally, I think the chapters should be allowed to expand to legion size. Imagine a thousand legions, not chapters of space marines
Geneseed is limited
Of course he needs it its his emotional support underslung melta gun
I don't see these fellows as mutated, but rather highly compatible with the gene-seed.
There has to be people who win the genetic lottery in this universe who can take on more traits of their
respective primarchs and that shows.
You forgot the part about Tiberos "The Red Wake" where his custom terminator plate is made out of altered dreadnought armor. Im sure everyone already knows that but I still like to hear people say it.
I was kinda expecting Black Dragons to make this list but they lack a few named charaters so its understandable
Hold up, there's a 3-eyed space marine and they've just done nothing with him?
I need decimus lore pls GW I beg you
"You're thin for someone who likes meat" Hagar to the Mortifactors
The short spacemarine is fucking hilarious
I see Space Shark Daddy, I click
Just think of a Death watch kill team made out of all these marines. I would read the shit out of that book.
I can’t believe there’s no Asterion Moloch in here, the Greek Tyberos. He’s personally my favorite non-standard space marine, a custodes once saw him and was unsure if he could take him, which is utterly insane given one custodes can wipe the floor with a whole squad of space marines. Moloch was so large and intimidating it made even a custodian uncomfortable
Edit: Forgot to mention he’s a marine murderer, his entire chapter is dedicated to the destruction of rogue chapters the high lords of Terra have deemed too dangerous or heretical. He fought alongside Tyberos during the Badab War
ngl the quote "the sky is opining op" has got me fucked up💀💀
Maximion sounds like he might have some squat relatives.
Mr.Bones id love to see you do a book review on the soul hunter trilogy since you got me to read Helsreach
Alpha Primus - prototype Primaris Marine, developed as character in Belisarius Cawl - Great Work.
Pasanius Lysane - best friend of Captain Uriel Ventris.
Ranulf the Strong - legendary as biggest Space Wolf, tall as a primarch.
This was very cool.
can someone explain to me why if the Carcharodons are a loyalist chapter then why is all their art them killing loyalists.
The most well known campaign they are known for in the setting is the Badab war
it was a Civil war of several loyalist space marine chapters fighting chapters that although left the imperium, did not fall to chaos (At the time)
most of the time you see a Carcharodon killing a marine it's usually a Mantis Warrior, or an Astral claw.
@@TheBoneZone40k thank you. Love your channel.
this is my kind of video dude
Oh there's a Maximion Voss at my gym, dude looks very strange, takes a lot of tren.
