When i play gmod i remember the default combines and Vj base made a good team The original metrocops with stunstick are de meat- shield and the other combines types are attack y remeber they attack and my brothers and some npc (Obviously i am one o the survuvors)Stay in this construct base. The combines basically make a supression estrategy aginst us jaja. We win after all. The black mesa satchel are the best.
Amazing showcase as always verj, cannot wait for the new update when you finish it, also i was wondering if you and cpt hazama have any plans to showcase more aliens and resistance soon for a demonstration video on their ai, if not thats all good just excited for them ngl lol, anyways good job on all the work youve done, can honestly argue that you all have the best base on workshop by far
What mods do you use for the sounds and also the bullet tracers? For the sounds, I mean more specifically the bullet impact, bullet firing, and footstep sounds. And one more question, what mod do you use for the camera and character movement?
All the mods you are requesting are mods I made a while back or installed outside of the workshop, so I don't really have links or names for any of them sadly

Sorry to ask this somewhat stupid question, but I make SNCPs appear however they only attack me when I get within 1mm of their face. he doesn't follow me... and he's probably looking for their existence but it's a bit sad... I know there's a "join to squad" thing but I still don't understand. How can I make him look for me? that I am either an enemy for them, moreover I have to deactivate everything that is "ignored the player" or "deactivates the thought". Thanks to you !
The suppression system is currently focused on how it effects things like their aim, if you notice in the video, when I suppress them, their accuracy messes up
I've been a big fan of VJ npcs for a while. They're just wayyyy smarter than normal ones. I was wondering though if they could be made compatiable with things like Fully Dynamic Animated Blood Mod. Is that something you could make VJ compatible with, or is it something the devs of FDABM would have to do?
I don't know what that addon is, but I am assuming it's some kind of a blood / gore mod, I suggest contacting the author to add support as it wouldn't be something from VJ Base side
Will human AI try to suppress other humans? if you make this also pin the enemy in cover when suppressed this could really make NPC Fights and just firefights in general way more interesting and fun
The AI I am showcasing here is not the NPC suppressing, it's the NPC being suppressed due to various different factors, including being shot at. This will make them more inaccurate
Hey I noticed VJBase NPCs tend to get stuck in each other like all the time and it gets annoying and breaks NPC battles and just regular gameplay. Could you add a way to turn off collision for NPCs or make them get pushed out of each other so they can keep moving without getting stuck? Please it would make these addons so much better.

HLR will be updated when VJ Base updates, it's gonna be a while
I don't use it myself, but on the GitHub version of resurgence (that might be a bit buggy I dont remember) there's alot more hl2 npcs

This is about the NPC getting suppressed, not the other way around, this is something rarely seen in games

You either have guarding mode on or the map that you are playing on is not AI noded

Could you reduce the damage of the OICW of the beta combine in HL:R? They kill you pretty fast it can get annoying sometimes
They are supposed to be medium tier, between regular soldier and elite, for example OICW does 8 damage per bullet where as AR2 does 12

Will npc suppression also stop them from running around? Vj npcs end up running strait into gunfire far too often.

You should make Elites less OP against the player. They instakill so much its not even fun or interesting to fight.
The upcoming VJ Base revamp will change this

Burst firing already exists (Look at AR2 for example), I think what you mean is random firing patterns, which I will explore in the future
