Hi there, thanks for the video. i dont hear the constant and annoying click-click that most diesel heaters make. Im trying to find one that doent make that click noise. Does your Airtop EVO make that noise? And could you say something about the noise in general?
Kelsang Padrosa it doesn’t tick, you can hear it when it starts up on full power but this is quite normal , you are not supposed to run on full power for long periods and so when you turn it down on half power it is fairly quiet! When you turn it off it goes into shutdown mode, it will then turn itself up for a few seconds before shutting off!
Kelsang Padrosa I think diesel heating is very good, very efficient and if you have fuel in your tank you always having heating unlike gas heating which is difficult to judge when your gas is going to run out!
@@MotorHomeMan I´ll def go for the diesel heater, i´m just concerned about the noise. I had the chance to hear a Webasto Dual top and a Webasto Airtop 2000 build in two different camper vans. The type of sound is different in both devises, and I found the Dualtop very disturbing, whereas the Airtop 2000 was better. Anyway, what water heater do you use?
Kelsang Padrosa the water heater is a Trumu Gas/electric BG10 a great boiler, works very well and heats up very quickly on electric, I’ve had no problems so will give it the thumbs up! 👍

We have two of these units on our boat. They break down all the time. I wish that I never put these onboard
