We are looking for a top notch video of an installation of this product in a Transit or Promaster van to link on our product page. Give me a call for details if you are interested!
Nice video, very instructional! Thank you!
Is there a way to adjust the fuel setting (leaner) to accommodate higher altitude for this model, like there is for the Air Top 200 ST/STC?
What’s a good rule of thumb to determine which model/BTU 40/55 would be appropriate for certain square footage and outside air temperature range?
I can't really provide a simple rule of thumb, there are too many variables. Check this information on our website, it may help answer some of your questions. www.vmacs.net/pages/webasto-air-heater-co2-adjustment
Is there an extension cable for the smart controller if you need some extra distance?
When describing the Wiring harness at around 12:15 , you did not mentionned where the yellow plug goes. I don't see a straight forward spot on my webasto for this wire. Can you explain ? Thanks for the video by the way!
The yellow wire is for the external temperature sensor that is built into the Smartemp controller, included with this kit. The yellow wire connects inside the heater, next to the main heater harness connector (x5 connector). Sometimes there is a rubber shipping plug placed in the appropriate hole inside the heater which can make it difficult to see.
@@VMACSinc perfect answer. Thank you very much for your help!
@@VMACSinc current version of evo 40 has a rubber plugged port on left and right side of the main connector. Which connector port does the yellow wire go to?
As you are looking into the open end of the main plug (without main harness installed) remove the rubber shipping plug immediately left of the main plug and connect the yellow wire there.
@@VMACSinc holy shit, that was a quick response! Especially after hours! Thank you!
