- Radical red just got a new update that adds all the pokemon from scarlet and violet into it! Not only that it also changes around a ton of trainers teams, pokemon abillities and much much more so today i tried to take it on with only paldean pokemon!

I also wanted to play the new update with only Gen 9 Pokemon. The new encounter options are great and the changed enemyteams are also very refreshing.
The sprites are absolutely amazing. Great work to the artists.

I freaking love the sprite work of the new mons. Some are spectacular like Great Tusk and others who basically just pc sprite depixelate also amazing.
Ngl tusk got one of the worst sprites compared to it's model and artwork (If we don't count the seviian forms. But yeah most of the Paldean sprites are absolute bangers. Floragato, walking wake and chi yu have amazing sprite work.
Annahilape is my Personal favorit, it just catches me offguard that Primeape got an evolution that matches his lore and i absolutly love it.
Aside from the front sprites of Great Tusk and Iron Valiant, all of the Gen 9 sprites look pretty great!
These 2d sprites are awesome I love how radical red gets constantly updatet. Great work

is the game balanced is it hard to get items and legendaries or do they just spawn in the wild hella commonly
@@josecarrasco3582It's very well balanced. Not perfect, but most pokemon are pretty viable. Legendaries are mostly endgame, a few get unlocked after the 8th gym and some are postgame

I played radical red back like 2 years ago I wanna say? Had a blast! Think I gave up on my run at the very end. I haven’t played the newer gen games so these rom hacks introducing newer mons to older titles is great!
Palafin ,Skeledirge, and Annihilape are my favorites from Gen 9 with maushold as an honorable mention

Garganacl is my absolute favorite Gen 9. It wasn't when the game was teased or launched but after comp play, Giga Salt is my favorite of the Gen 9
Favorite gen 9 pokemon would have to be between Ceruledge and tbh Pawmot! I love that fighting electric mouse 🥰
Trainer tip : actually u dont need healing items in this game at all u can just press menu and then click the right side button to open the last part of the menu which allows u to access the dexnav and the pc and u can just deposit ur party Pokemon in the pc and withdraw them getting them back to full hp . Hope this helps u guys 😅

Fav mid stage evo is easy. Wartortle and I'm a charizard guy. Honorable mentions to Vigoroth and primeape. He is now a mid stage evo. Bisharp as well. Always felt midstage to me. Durant needs an evo.

For me it’s a tie between Sprigatito and Ceruledge. Both being main stapels on my first Violet playthrough. Also sprigatito was my first ever non fire type starter on the Switch (not counting Let’s Go)
