Poochyena and mightyena are primarily based off hyenas but they're also based on wolves, it's a bit of a mix, also the closest relatives to hyenas are not lions and cougars. It's mongoose and meerkats

To me also including the Sprite & 3d animations from Gen 2 Crystal and Gen 3 Emerald up (bcus these two had actual Sprite Animations before later Gens did it across the board) and Colosseum. I think you should try pokemon dark realm it is my number one favorite rom hack and i feel like you would like it too maybe a dark only run? It does have a lot of bugs but that is not important
I have an idea for pokemon infinite fusion. One thing I wish is a dark deception fusion. Maybe a murder monkey for infernape, or Agatha for weavile, or maybe even Bierce for gardivoir.
