You can meeting loads of interesting people when you are out playing at the public piano at St Pancras. Usually they don't cause international incidents but are loads of fun and a great chance to meet other musicians. Sometimes you can even meet and hopefully inspire the next generation of pianists! I had just finished playing Abba, and my dad asked a gentleman if he played and wanted to jump on the piano. It's a public piano and it's all about sharing! Well, it turns out he's amazing - his name is Fraser Bernstein @MrBearmanification and love how he just flows with the music. I couldn't stop myself joining him and then the magic happened. Played Dancing Queen, and then Fraser went into Mamma Mia. The crowd forms, but then a little boy is caught in the music. He's so incredibly cute and super polite. He asks "Can I do it?" Of course you can! And then he joins in. The next generation of pianists has started!
Those 2 young men melted my heart. Not only were they amazing on the piano but the kindness shown to the little boy that got caught up in the music. Couldn't stop watching.
That was brilliant and the little boy should be encouraged if he loves music. Glad mum didn't drag him away. He didn't spoil anything because the 2 pianists were so great at their job.
Absolutely 💯 My late husband was a musician and also taught instrumental in Jr high and H.S. it was in a small Midwestern town. He exposed the kids to all genres of music not just country and rock.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE hearing ABBA being played!!! They have been one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE bands ever since I was a wee girl!!!! My Dad had MILLIONS of their tapes!!!!! (I'm DEFINITELY showing my age when I talk about tapes as opposed to CDS!!!!) J
ABBA was one of my dad's favorite band and Just lost three months ago. And hearing this just brings back the memories of. My childhood and how I just lost my father. I was born at the end of April 1973 so I am 51. And my dad Died at age 79 and his 80th birthday is September 19th. He was born in 1944. And my dad was hoping to try and reach his 80th but sadly he didn't make it. At Least he passed in his sleep.
What you did for that boy will set the course and passion of his life’s hopes and dreams! Just a moment in time makes all the difference. You men have beautiful souls! There’s no greater joy than seeing the beauty of childs joy! ❤ You are giants amongst men!
You and me both! As someone who has been studying Music for most of her life (I just turned 49 on the 17th of this month) I HAVE to say that I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INSANELY JEALOUS of Cole's ability to listen to a piece/song he's never played before once and be able to play it flawlessly!!!!!! He's the the type of person I REALLY WANT to make it big though, due to the fact that he's SUCH A THOROUGHLY DECENT bloke!!!! J
Thanks Cole, I think this was back last Winter (2023). I was with you at St Pancras on that day. You and Fraser made a great duet with Abba music. I recall having a chat with Fraser after and he is a fan of musical theatre, just like me. Not that usual for young men of his age but let's hope more people take an interest in musical theatre as there is really some great music that comes out of some of those shows. The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, the list is endless. Loved this.
@@FraserBernstein Hi Fraser, Glad you picked up on my comment. I try to get out with Cole and his Dad (Chi) as often as I can, distributing flyers to try to get Cole's subscribers up to a million. He isn't far short. Hope to meet up with you again.
I love the way the didn't push the little one away, but encouraged him to join in! What a way to inspire the little one with the thirst for music! Hopefully his mom and dad will get him started in music now, while he's still enthusiastic! Music helps so much, in many ways, to help students get the most out of their education. It teaches them discipline, hand/eye coordination, it boosts their confidence, gives them a strong foundation in math that they will be able to relate to later in life, plus gives them a hobby that they can always come back to! My youngest plays violin, guitar and percussion, and even now, at 22 years old, he still plays!
Oh , dear , don’t live your life feeling blue , live is hard for everyone sometimes , but the sun always will shine on the next morning, I can assure you that!!! There’s nothing that cannot be fixed , really nothing, if we all try hard. 👍🏼👍🏼🙋♀️💝
It's amazing when you play with others regardless of their age.. you encourage others to have fun through music.. Thank you for all the kindness and love you share through your music. ❤
I am in awe! Music truly is an international language. This performance with the overlying words about feelings intensified the joy of the moment. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Great! Well played this amazing Song from ABBA. Everyone all over the world know: Music is the Key to our Hearts and Souls. Thank you Mate for sharing!
I cold watch these all day. What a blessing you are to the community and world. I am relearning piano. I never played as well as you or Fraser, but I loved to play. Chemo took my ability away, along with time. But I’m trying. Thank you for your videos which are so encouraging.
Simply AWSOME Cole! U simply made him really feel part of. And all the other kids enjoying with their parents. Very nice! Thx. For always sharing these experiences! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fantastic. I love that you allowed the little boy to join you. It's guys like you that will teach the next generation to love music of all kinds. Thank you.
"Dancing Queen"..one of my favorite ABBA Songs..performed by Frazer & Cole..Lovely to view this spontaneous presentation-hope to see more of this combo.❤
Love the Mum’s understatement when she said, at the end, “He’s not very shy!” But that. Little boy already has a sense of the rhythm, so I hope he does get the chance for lessons.
The best part was the trio with the boy actually adding bass at a reasonable beat to go with the song! I'm with you on hoping he's provided the opportunity to pursue his love of music!!
What a wonderful child, don’t ever let him lose his drive or smile, watching him I think he may have some real appreciation for the music and instrument.
I’ve never had the opportunity to see anyone who is a musician play on a public piano. But this looks so incredibly fun 🤩 everyone is happy and having a blast. These two guys are beautifully talented. I think it’s great that they can share together their amazing talents. Amen to music 🎶 ❤❤❤. Bravo 👏🏼
Great duet with Fraser, cole! It's good that you joined in. Awesome song Dancing Queen from Abba! It's fun the kids were drawn to you and your music - a dancer and future pianist! Little one is so determined copy how you play! Woo!
What a fabulous trio! Absolutely loved it and a delight to see the little one joining in.Well done for encouraging him to join in ,perhaps a budding pianist x
Cole, your performance was flawless as always my friend! 😊. So many people can play really well, but still lack that connection with the music. Playing with your brain fingers is fine but playing with your heart, soul & of course your emotions is on another level! ❤
I just love how two strangers can just play together on the fly like that. It seems like magic to me! ❤️ It did irritate me that that kid’s mother didn’t stop him. Kids will be kids, but it was his mother’s responsibility to take him away. You were both way more tolerant than I would be!
LOVED your trio! I thought you were going to break into 'Oh what a night' towards the end which would also have been great. Wonderful to see a child joining the rhythm and joy.🎉🎉🎉
Always warms my heart to hear you play Cole and this other fellow Fraser, I think his name is , plays wonderfully too❗️quite enjoyed you both and the little one who joined in 🎼🎶🎶🎹😘❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Flint's Farmer's Market has a public piano... It was beautiful to hear various peeps play... Others struggled yet it gave them an opportunity to play and have others help them... Music heals... Keep playing and thank you!✌️💜😊
Cole, Thank you for sharing this awesome video. The 3 of you really know how to grab hearts to the fullest. I've sure enjoyed watching this performance and watching it, again. 🙂
BRAVO for encouraging the young man. I played guitar in children’s rooms from as soon as they could stand (9 months to a year) through 5th grade. I had a 20 minute repertoire of singalong songs. But inevitably, kids gravitated to the guitar. They wanted to “play along.” I found a Honer classical guitar that retailed for $80…it was amazingly good (and yes, same company that makes world famous harmonicas). I never discouraged a child from approaching the guitar , even though I knew it was going to take a few whacks. I would teach many how to lightly strum rather than grab the strings. I eventually had a few students emerge over the years. NOTE: I also play harmonica…but we didn’t share those 😂🤧🤒😉
I’ve been catching your videos for years now and watched you grow up. This video was absolutely wonderful. Heart warming. I will save this and watch it when I am feeling down. Best yet Cole. Well done to Fraser as well what an amazing guy. The kid, wow, a musician in the making. Keep up the good work and go for more like this mate. Well done. 👏
I was so happy to see how both of you made room for the little one to “play” with you. I grew up being told not to “bang” on the piano. Perhaps if I hadn’t been discouraged…..?

Little man is going to be playing piano in public when he gets older! That was a good start thanks to Cole and Frasier.
Those 2 young men melted my heart. Not only were they amazing on the piano but the kindness shown to the little boy that got caught up in the music. Couldn't stop watching.
Fraser was great the transition to mama mia was smooth you can tell he knows his way around a piano .
That was brilliant and the little boy should be encouraged if he loves music. Glad mum didn't drag him away. He didn't spoil anything because the 2 pianists were so great at their job.
that will be 1 less kid hooked on video games...i saw a spark in his eye
