- We were out at Street Car Takeover in Maryland and caught up with quite the machine in the new Acura NSX. This thing end up being pretty quick. It kind of caught me off guard a little!

AMG was definitely fast. The ace was an 11 second index. First to cross without going faster than 11 seconds wins.

The part I find the most interesting is this guy has owned a lot of cars and his comment about how RELIABLE the NSX is compared to everything he has owned is cool. Something that is really missing in many cars today.
Compared to every other supercar, the NSX is the only one that is really reliable and gets good gas mileage. It's a great car, but the steep price is what hurts it.
You can't beat Acura for sports car reliability, just not possible, you're not getting the coolest car ever but even the oldest TL type S are still running, with over 250-300k no rebuild
justin hammond Porsche is faster and has great reliability
SP yeah you can get a Lexus LFA and I’m sure that beats most cars in its class in terms of power train reliability but you’re also paying like half a million for it

Finally someone agrees with me, i had the Audi r8 and damn that was in the shop like crazy and my friends GTR was always problems, im glad i bought my 2020 nsx and i have the 2002 nsx both cars rock.
I really hope the owner of that mustang sees this video and puts the stock exhaust back on

@@pitbull82 When I started it was $17.10 an hour but its higher now, maybe 18 or 19. But yeah, its awesome! Very very physical and hard on your body but the people you work with are almost always cool and fun to be around. Bad coworkers never last long in there
Was actually at this race, and in the stands when this car made it’s first dig run, and was amazed at its takeoff. Very hard to beat him off the line with another street car that isn’t electric, especially in the same HP range.

The new NSX is dope. It is the future of racing. Many people just hate because you can't tune it as easily as most cars. I'd buy one just to daily it.
Those NSX cars are great! My brother has one and no matter what anybody says they destroy a lot of cars on the road. It’s actually an amazing car for the price and it comes with an exotic look 👀

Vinny Booboo the stock engines in the higher end GL classes are actually extremely powerful. Weight is the main and only drawback.

Dog it out...no issues. Had an R8 and other supercars...all had issues. That's it. NSX is the goal dream car to go for.

A smaller rim and slightly thicker and slightly softer inflation tire rubber makes faster lap time.. These guys sacrifices speed for better looks.

You can clearly see it pulling way ahead during the race and it ONLY pulled a 128MPH compared to the NSX's 130MPH!

I've driven the 2018 NSX - it's absolutely amazing. Easily the best, and most affordable supercar.

Had nothing to do with Acura it's the dealer Mark up. Acura sells cars to the dealers and they do the pricing

@David Sanchez But the civic interior is good so that isnt much of an insult. Dont expect a bentley interior in a car that's meant to he fast. A more basic interior saves weight and a recycled interior makes it more affordable.

It's a Honda at the end of the day. Shit just takes and works! Big reason why i like it. Plus no servicing issues since acura can be easily found unlike the super rare Italian brands.

@@techo4Ugeeks The Mazda is a better car for the money because of the shear fact that the car has better smiles per dollar valuation. It is also the thought that one could invest the extra money not spent on the NSX into a cash-flowing business producing $40,000 EBITDA on the $100,000 purchase. The NSX will only lose value looking at the present value of the money to purchase and won't provide any cash flow, unless utilized for marketing, to which I would like to see where it would produce enough to justify an expense.

David Sanchez if you’re going to use the c8 argument then there’s no point on purchasing over other mid engine vehicle that costs over $60k. Why buy a Ferrari that costs $125k+? Why buy a McLaren that cost $200k+ when you can buy a corvette c8 for $60k? Why buy a Lamborghini when they don’t make a car that costs $60k? People will continue to buy other cars no matter what.
