Reading your article in Classic Land Rover magazine and clicked on the qr code to see your video. Really cool to watch after reading the story of your adventures on the Holland trail. Greetings from 🇮🇪 Ire.
Good stuff Geoff. I've potentially been making some exciting progress on the series 1 so might be able to join you guys on a trip one day to leave a dirty big oil trail down the track.
Great to hear that progress is being made of the mighty Series 1. It is going to be a beast. Sounds good, we might have to head over your way. Cheers Geoff
Hi Anthony. We run two types the Toyo Tires M/T’s in a 235/85 R16 and 7.50/16 Dunlop Off road grippers. As for tyre pressures, it depends on the terrain, on the highway 30 to 35 psi. Cheers Geoff
Hey, I love your dedication and enthusiasm towards the old series. I have a series that I had parked in a shed and seeing what you have done id like to travel around with mine and build it with my girlfriend. I would like to redo its wiring too * I have a series 3* could you have any wiring diagrams to guide me? Again good job mate.
Hi Lex. thank you for your kind words and appreciation for the channel. That sounds like a awesome plan and I am sure you and your girlfriend will have some awesome adventures of a life time in The Landy. In regards to wiring diagrams, I would suggest getting yourself a copy of the original print workshop manual for the Series 3, as there is a wiring diagrams for all variants of the Series 3. I would further suggest cutting your losses and purchasing a brand new wiring harness ( you can get these from a company called Autosparks). One more thing i would suggest is fitting relays for the headlights as these draw a lot of current and as the original wiring set up doesn't have them incorporated, there is the tendency of the dip switch to burn out. Anyway, I hope this helps and best of luck with your Landy restoration. Kind regards, Geoff

Love the 5L jerry idea. Nothing worse than the smell of EP90 in a car.
Oh in your sleeping bag which has happened in the past. Differently a worthwhile investment. Cheers Geoff
