Cheers mate, yea she's bloody good country. Hahah Maxxis razr's on the landy would be a sight to behold eh ...I think it was more my shoddy driving and cooked suspension (all fixed now). Also got home and found my air filter holder was loose... filter was full of wet muck. New Filter and cleaned up, I think I've had a 25 percent fuel economy increase 😂 Landies are hardy though, they run even when they're about to fall apart.
Io ero come quel bimbo, poi da più grande guardando in TV "Nata Libera" avevo già" capito che da grande una Landy sarebbe stata mia. Infatti ho una series III del 1975, dal 1997. 💪
Hiked into that hut mid-July last year in a full frost, and found the springs on the way home. Great trip definitely would of been more fun in a truck. Only found the springs just warm enough to deforst our laces seems like you all had a great trip!
We were naughty and didn't however that wasn't what caused the flat tyre though, the tube that had been installed was apparently very old and not up to snuff, the tyre fitter said the tyre itself was in perfect shape so someone who shall remain unnamed stitched me up there. I usually lower my tyres quite a lot when off-roading but for some reason the old brains weren't working on this one. It definitely would have helped get up some of those slopes.
Gidday Paul! I don’t actually do the hunting just tag along for the walks, I do plan on getting my gun license soon but Ben ( the owner of that stallion of a Nissan mistral ) shoots a Franchi 308 I believe.
what a beatiful video! We will do this road on bicycle next month.
Good on ya I hope you have a wicked time. Hopefully you get some nice weather :)
That’s the best looking Nissan mistral I’ve ever seen.
I have passed on your appreciation to the proud owner haha! There is something about it that others do not have.
Sufficiently prunified?!?

On ya for walking it bro. Sucks it wasn't as warm for ya though sounds like you definitely deserved it! Beautiful rugged country eh.
the scenery by the road is encredible. here in ohio it is all flat corn feilds .
Thanks so much! Yes we are very lucky here in New Zealand !
Great video. Nice to see the old landy being put to use. :) Did you lower your tire pressure......seems like too much pressure.

The radiator cap... eish. I did that and nearly ruined my Landy engine and made atrip to the Okavango and Mozambique really "interesting"...
Gotta make sure that fella is on good and tight haha. New radiator and brand new cap going in next week so we’ll have no more leaky leaky.
So what size are those Toyo tyres? I will be looking for new tyres for my 109 sometime soon.
235/85/r16 I think they work well on the 109 tall and narrow enough.
I have land rover iwant to wake for another time series 2 it here Kenya it's station wagon long chase what can I do cause I'm very down,
All I can say is perseverance is key! Plenty of info on fixing these rigs on RUclips. Africa is Land Rover heaven!
New subscriber here. What rifle (brand and caliber) do you carry with you? I’ve seen in a couple of your videos you are out for a bit of a hunt.
Gidday Paul! I don’t actually do the hunting just tag along for the walks, I do plan on getting my gun license soon but Ben ( the owner of that stallion of a Nissan mistral ) shoots a Franchi 308 I believe.
Why didn’t you go further up the trail you were a long way from the end
Because our destination was the hot pools and Scottie’s hut.
Which tyres are you running?
Toyo AT ii’s … I rate them. Never had a puncture, done plenty of Boulder bashing and held up great getting aired up and down all the time.
Nice ❤
🙏🏼 cheers!
