First saw Adrian in a country band in the 60's in a country band, we were looking around for the steel guitarist, then realised there wasn't one, it was just Adrian and his Telecaster, awesome!

Adrian is the best! One of my favs, thanks for posting, his stretch technique is super-human, nobody can do it like him, I saw him do this one years ago, here he pulls it off flawlessly!

this tune is called Chicken Licken's Last Ride. It was originally recorded on his Techno Picker LP and then later showed up on a CD in a newer, re-recorded version.

Saw Adrian perform this live once, the man has bionic hands! His stretches are out of this world! If you have ever tried these stretches, nearly impossible for most of us! Adrian Legg is one of the very best guitarists out there, you gotta see this amazing fingerstyle player if you get the chance.

I have come to the conclusion that his fingers have been grafted on by a blacksmith.

How Legg does what he does - take an Ovation Adamas, use a 12 string neck, change out the nut and bridge, wind up with a 6 string with a wide neck. String it 10-46 with low action, and bingo !! Ovation pickups arent pressure sensitive so you can go light or medium. its all good.

he does that with banjo tuners. He plays with the tuning pegs while he is picking. he's an amazing picker.

For an acoustic, those bends sure seem to come easily. These vets have sick strength in their fretting hands.

It's his facility for bending notes in the middle of a chord. It's just mindblowing the control this man has over his instrument.

This hasn't got anything to do with banjo tuners - it's string-bending (009e'), nothing else here on that song.
