Adrian Legg is one of the greatest "acoustic" guitar players ever. I think I learned more from him than any other guitar player that I studied. From technique to creativity and musicality. He has a lot of material out there from formal video lessons to books and tablature. Check him out and support what he is doing if you like his music. The man is a living legend.
At 3:05, Adrian is playing, frailing really, a sort of banjo tune, (according to the liner notes from the record), titled Coging's Glory. I think it's the opening tune on the Guitar for Mortals record, if I remember correctly.
" The pedal steel is the ultimate weepy, it's where you lay it on and go for the tissues". Somebody should put out a book, titled The Quotable Adrian Legg or something like that!
Hello, in classical guitar music, those letters stand for the name of the fingers used to play certain notes to correspond exactly with the fingering required by the composer of the music. As I know the letters come from words in Spanish language. i : índice (index finger) m : medio (middle) a : anular (ring) c : meñique (pinky)
2 years late but there's a company that makes fake fingernail picks that are removable but they have to be sized individually to each finger so my guess is that he is using them and writes letters on them so he can remember which nails goes on each finger
