Exactly my thought, why hasn't Alan done soundtracks?

Alan Wilder is a genius and so modest, given his immense talent. His contribution to DM is the stuff of legend and he is sorely missed.

I have nothing against him. I think he's a great musician, but Martin and Andy said he was a control freak. I don't know if that's true or not, or maybe Martin and Andy wanted to get at him.

@@revacohen I love DM but also love Alan Wilder. Again, not knowing about the scenario, but for Martin and Andy to label him a control freak is a bit much seeing as how Fketch’s input into DM was “bumming around” with little or no musical input. I’d saw that AW stuck it out for longer than most. A 4 way equal split but the division of work a bit more one sided. He remained in Havsa when the others had buggered off on holiday. Not a control freak, rather a perfectionist.

I agree and would love to know if Alan was aware that they said that. I guess we'll never know. 😔

I don't think Alan Wilder working with Trent Reznor would be a great idea.Trent is very well known for doing it his own way and having a bit of temper in the studio.
I think Alan would like to stay clear of that sort of thing.
