Lol; loved that! Leave it to Dahl to both educate and entertain Us with one short-story! …I think I need to go buy some Royal Jelly; I’m sold! Thanks so much!!
Just seen this one on Tales Of The Unexpected starting Timothy West & Susan George, on Sky Arts Was fascinated to hear the difference between the text and the film Thanks
Albert is a fool, I'd have stopped the process after the first day to see if the baby would continue eating. I haven't even finished reading, but the part where it said a normal baby eating that much would turn a 7lb baby into a 5 ton baby was the first warning bell. The second is when it said that only the queen continues eating royal jelly. Is he daft? This cannot end well. I was right, poor wife. She gave birth to a bee
i...LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTT TYSM ITS LIKE AN AUDIOBOOK OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG ITS PERFECT ALso.... thank you for reading this wonderful story with a wonderful voice ❤ 💜 ♥
Thankyou for this. I've been hunting everywhere for this without much luck and it's not the accent of an American narrator (which i somehow struggle to focus on. I'm partially sighted and this was one of the last things i saw before losing my eyesight all those years ago ❤
I’m glad you found the reading. You might enjoy my other channel Book Club where there is a wide selection of other titles. youtube.com/@bookclub5291?si=JvpnAbpeM3KDJvcC
Thankyou for another fantastic audio ebook. Didnt they turn this book into an episode of Tales of the Unexpected many years ago? I remember it spooked me alot as a child.
Hey Sarah. You are welcome. I believe they did turn this one into an episode. I would imagine it spooked a lot of people. Such a great story! Hope you're well! 🙏
Theres nothing quite as good as Roald Dahl. Lots of books get close, but none surpass his writing. I still have many of his stories to produce, but not sure where I will go next.
Is permission possible for you to produce :”The Christmas Box” ? (ISBN 9781566840286) a novel written by Richard Paul Evans and self-published in 1993. (Later released in hardcover in 1995 by Simon & Schuster, The Christmas Box became the first book to simultaneously reach the No.1 position on The New York Times bestseller list for both the paperback and hardcover editions.) This moving story is so lovely. Thank you and keep your chin up, you are amongst friends!
I've been watching your videos for 2 hours now, can't get enough of your clear-reading.

It's good that you have put text to follow along.. It's good for kids developing their reading.
I agree. I feel that it's the best way to take in information, with text and audio together. I'm glad you found it valuable.
@@lewiskirk8289 I feel there’s an extra level of understanding once text is included accompanying the audio you’re listening to🫡

The thumbnail is scarier than the book.
