- We take our 750cc cross kart on it’s first test ride! We finish up a ton of loose ends in this video- we install the brakes, finish the engine mounts, weld the front suspension together better, install the gas, brake, and clutch pedals, run the clutch linkage, run the gas linkage, install a fuel tank, AND MORE. Lots of progress in today’s video!

funny to see Charles so far back and to now see him in every video is funny. So glad he was added to the team. great work guys.
Keep Charles around! He seems to know his way around a garage and seems like our kind of people. #givecharlesaraise
+1 thumb up right here. This needs more likes.
He definitely has good energy!
Yeah seems like good dude 👍
Estevan Charrette yea #givecharlesaraise
Impresionante 👍 saludos de España
I've followed just about all of your builds and admire your attitude and skills. This one really hit home - it made me pull my almost-done Honda CMX 450 powered project out of the equipment shed. My wife put it into storage 5 years ago right after I broke my leg, and half the farm eventually got stacked on top of it.. I'm pushing 72 and figured it's get it done or sell it before either it or me rots away. Fortunately I had shut the petcock off on its last start up. All I did was replace the battery, clean the tank, and ran some fresh ethanol-free gas with a squirt of techron thru the carb - didn't even take it apart. Started and ran like it was last shut off yesterday. Forgot how loud it is thru 36" curved straight pipes with megaphone ends - neighbor a half mile away came over to investigate. I finished the clutch (bent the bike's clutch lever and mounted it as a foot pedal ) and fabricated the same kind of left-side jockey shifter. Took it for first ride with the right side tire in free-wheel. Light throttle, feathered the clutch, rolled out nice and quick, then nailed the throttle and it all but stopped moving - left rear tire just went up in smoke. Waiting on new set of Ebay tires all around. Once this one is done, I have an early Honda Pilot with a 2 stroke 398cc Kaw jet ski engine that 's nearly finished - just needs a better brake and a steering rack from GPS. Hope you guys are around for a long time to come.
can we all as a group say a quick prayer for John's father's grass. 🙏🙏🙏
Can we say a prayer for the Angry Spider
thats hilarious
Your not funny

It's cool young Owen Wilson decided to help out! Great video.
I thought the same thing.
wow! That's great!
Can we have an intern day contest? Dayum it's not often you see smiles as long a s the machine they're thrashing! Lethal, abso-freaking-lethal!
You mean 'Not Sure" decided to help out, he is the smartest man left alive....lol
Yea i know it his brother, just go with it....
Wow
Charles is a cool dude. Always going out of his way to try and help people out at Mini Mayhem. Hope to see more of him on the channel.
I would totally drive this!
It will be too fast
Hot dungus man I haven’t seen you since I seen the Xbox video with metal jesus
I was literally going to buy that motorcycle y’all used for this kart.
HOPE it holds together! it's a cool full susp racing go kart!
Suggestion: F1 style fiberglass body on it... and/or a huge wing
#bigwanggang
i think a rear wing yuou be worse. all the weight is in the rear with the engine so all its gonna to is lift the front iup making it harder to steer
And a big wing dang doodle
@@retrox684 You could easily make an aluminum wing that weighs all of a couple pounds and bolt it to that suspension brace in the rear. Since it wouldn't matter aerodynamicly till over 60 mph really in any meaningful way, it would be fine. Just don't make the wing out of steel and the balance won't be any worse than now. They could also do a front F1 style front wing, and do that out of steel to make a little more front weight bias since the engine is in the rear.
I came down here to suggest a big gnarly wing lol
I can't get over how good it sounds.
Wow, that thing sounds awesome and looks like a blast but also borderline spooky in that grass
I think a gauge cluster would really look nice and potentially keep you from smashing your hands if yall roll over
Need a cage put on it like a Sprint car brace it toward the front then the arm restraints would work perfect
Turned out better then I imagined it would. It looks like a blast to drive and sounds good too!
that was a blast,
Whats the engine?
That thing is a beast
I think this is your most badass build yet
Yall have to put a large functional or dysfunctional spoiler(wang)

Holy crap that sounds amazing!! Great job 👍👍
was just scrolling through recommended videos and saw this, i missed an upload, i clicked on the video afap (as fast as possible) and watched the video to the end, i’ve been following the project from the start and it is amazing to see the progress in as little videos that you guys did it in. i am so excited to see what project is next, i know it’ll be cool. good jobs guys!
Really cool edit of starting the kart up
Nice build! I'm glad Owen Wilson was there to help out! ;)
Big wing and some slicks. This would be a track beast. It can be a cross kart and a track kart with a simple change of tires
ricer
SO2002 that’s not ricey though
A wing? Hahaha, yeah, not how aero works, but ok.
@@SMDTURBO you never know 🤷🏾♂️
SMDTURBO yeah but at speed it works, depending on the angle and size of the wing and extra aero, then yes that is how aero works
My god I've been watching you guys for years now it's always a riot, from the early budget builds, to the beast you have just created you've come so far. And john thanks for keeping ike alive with the voice of reason cheers
That thing is sick. Can't wait.
for getting the air out of the brake line , the ups and downs in the line traps the air , its still a light vehicle , just lift the rear up untill its above the level of the reserviour and start bleeding , should work a lot better
Can't wait to see the carbs working right, great helper that Charles, although he started out a little camera shy he obviously knows his way around a shop. Dudes...............FROM THE GROUND UP AWESOME RIG!!
The casual professionalism is awesome love your content.
I remember when it was just a pre cut coffin looking for a level spot to be welded.. man that thing turned out so freaking badazz.. never doubted you guys for a moment.. I’ll say it again that is the nicest and sweetest machine y’all have built to date..
THE CROSS KART IS ALIVE!! I have to say though, Ike's face at 15:40 has to be my finest work yet😂
Lol
You guys needs to hook the old rpm gauge up on it seeing its cable drive it needs to be done
Again I ask who is Leroy
@@tebeardenkahboom1 Our rooster who was recently murdered
I was familiar with the rooster I just didn't know his name. Sorry to hear that man believe it or not. I had a rooster when I was a kid that acted just like a dog. He'd be waiting for me at the bus stop every day coming home from school. You need to catch that raccoon
John, Isaac, I Ride A 1993 Harley XL 1200 Sportster and its only got 20k on the clock and after watching Isaacś face the 1st 10 foot of driving made my mind up I am parking my Sportster this winter as usual pr Vermont's Snow this winter is different I am pulling the engine tranny outta the bike and buying steel I think I want A Harley Cross Death Cart thanks for costing me Money this winter from Sean in Vt
SEAN BENWARE I wanna see videos about that
Look up "stunt freaks team"and"grind hard plumbing" idk if you have. But there builds are badass! great Inspiration!
Fucking bad ass
The TruthSayer Dude, I take it that you have skipped school. You grammar often?
I left a comment on a previous video of this build on how I'd love to see something like this with a Sportster motor lol.
“We’re leaking a lil fuel” *proceeds to rip it*
"Oh, there's an little angry spider in there to." Hmm I wonder why he is angry, perhaps it is something to do with his home in side the engine being roasted along with all eight of his poor little feet.
Sounds BEASTLY
Called it. 5 point. Not a bad investment plus you can get a full back seat to block the heat. Bad ass guys.
U guys need an actual racing bucket seat it will help alot
james knocke They need to be strapped in lol. It looks like if you got ejected, the bar supporting the steering wheel would snap your femurs in half.
Absolutely!!
This is your finest work. Great looking cart.
Loved the slow mo retro start of the cart. Had a cool 70s vibe!
This is the most Mario kart like one I’ve ever seen
A fire wall, some more bracing, and you'll be good to go
Need bigger wheels also .... thing looks silly....looks bad and hurts the carts performance
Way to go dudes! Well done on a great build so far. Hope to see more of Charles! He has what it takes!
I think this is the best project of CaC !
Now that's a friggen GO-CART!!!!!
@derredmax you didnt spell go-kart right
Charles, more Charles. You guys are great too.. awkward. Great video gang.
You've come a long way in a couple of years. Modding is great, but fabrication is a whole other level. Great build guys.
It already looks like fun, can't wait to see a full rip on the next video
Sounds like a Group B rally car. :-D
Or a older wrx
Awesome guys . It should be called "The Widow Maker"
Looks so good,!!! That thing is crazy fast. And so much torque, looks great out there
Amazing outcome! Can't wait to see a hi-speed test run 🏁🏁🏁🏁
This is freaking awesome guys! I have enjoyed every bit of this build.
Been waiting all morning for this one!!
Wow that is better than I thought absolutely wicked build
Brilliant video/series. Really enjoying it
Looking great, and the welds might not be the prettiest, but they are functional. Cheers.
Now I gotta start building 1. That looks like a blast, you guys rock 🎸👍
Fantastic job guys!!!!
when i found out Leroy died i was like “oh sad” and thought that was the end and went on with making videos, but found myself like literally depressed and not wanting to do anything for a few days,
*_R.I.P. Leroy_*
When it's still in 360p but you're so excited you can't wait till it's done processing.
Right there with you but at 240 :(
Awesome, it’s gonna smash the record around the yard track 👍
Holy!!! you guys are stepping it up now wow!!!!
Best build u guys have done so far. Keep on going!
Kickass guys that thing rips! After she’s all fine tuned and buttoned up she definitely needs a busco beach day. Can’t wait for the next installment of the crosskart keep up the amazing work guys. BTW the silver paint on the c10 looks good.
Just want to say thanks for another great show. Always fun to watch you guys build these amazing creations. Would be awesome if you had some sort of giveaway or a chance for someone to come and work with you for a day. As always it’s great to watch the channel keep it up.
Charles is cool! Nice work guys!
Keep charles he is a bloody handy bloke.
when does it stop being a go cart, and becomes a dune buggy ? Whatever it is I love it ! ! !
robert miller this is boarder line I’d say, but it’s perfect
not even a bit dune buggy, dune buggies are built for dunes...
Usually it becomes a mini buggy when you add suspension.
Buggys tend to use car motors and tranys long travel suspension and full size tire wheels and breaks.... not those timy wheels
I mean my lawn mower has bigger wheels
This thing looks like so much fun!....and it sounds amazing
This is the best yet
That is awesome. Great job guys.
This is amazing sounds so good
%100 BESTESTEST BUILD YET; THINK FASTER & LONGER SHOCK TRAVEL W/MORE GROUND CLEARANCE FOR NEXT BUILD... PLEASE & THANX BOTH OF YOU MAKE THE FINEST TEAM BUILDAERS EVER !!!!!!!!!
Just larger wheels.
When I did my cart…I did it with a CB360 motor…fuel pump…hand shifter (half of handle bar with clutch lever) homemade live axle with 3wheeler tires and a sprocket the size of the wheel!!! Lone disk from the front of the bike! Thing was sick!!!
Awesome build guys! Please, don't forget to prioritize installing a firewall before further testing as I know how easy it is to be carried away and get exposed to an accident. Safety first! Keep the awesome content coming! Have fun!
"Little poop came out" lmao that thing looks fun as hell guys. Great job!
great video as always guys!
I had a grin on my face waiting for the revel and first ride awesome
Great work boys!!!
Damn I'm impressed it's like a little Formula 1 car.
I find it funny that you have Old RadioShack parts you guys rock I miss RadioShack
Great job guys!!!! I can't wait to build one for myself.
Super dope kart guys love it. Thinking about building one for my self and my young boys!!
your neighbors most love you, sick ride
AAAAWWWWW yeah!!!! Congratulations Fellas! NICE WORK!
I'm Super Inspired!!!!
I'm Definitely Building A CrossKart!
I live about two hours from GoPowerSports, so I HAVE to make it up there to meet up with them n let them and Everyone Interested, WACO EAGLES MOTORCYCLE club is Building a short track for Mini Bikes, Dirt Track Karts, And Motorcycle Racing!
I'd love y'all to come out and Join in on the Grand Opening near the end of this year!
Awesome video and build.
That is definitely your best sounding project ever!
HE'LL YEAH THAT SUCKERS A SUPER MONSTER! Man I can't wait to see some bigger tires and the finish product!
I call it the Miatonda kart, part miata, part honda in a kart.
That looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see next video.
WOW! That is awesome, looks like a ton of fun. Keep up the great work.
with the tire set up and the flat arms it looks like a formula 1 racer. WOW is that thing loud!!
I feel like if you put some sand tires on that thing it would be insane on some sand dunes.
And bigger tires those tiny thing would sink
I like the use of existing car parts.
Great day's working in the garage and brilliant fun to watch keep the good stuff coming thank you fellas and fit some type of restraints in the finished job
You have to dub it Leroy! In the “slowmo” it even goes “b’cah b’cah” just before firing up! Haha. I am being humorous but also serious. R.I.P. Leroy.
OMG YES!
dont get impaled on that shift lever
That 750 cross cart is sick. Very cool!
love it! I wasnt sure how I would feel with the little bit of travel, but it looks like a great build. Congrats!!!
Hi y’all love it good job from west Alabama
I watch you guys and 4 other very similar channels and I enjoy them all. But...this is the best vehicle yet! Also...I also think you should name it "Leroy".
Glad to see music back in the videos!!!!
That thing sounds bad ass. Love it man
