- Hey guys ScaringCrab here and today we have some request by some ppl to do more Fleet Histories! Here you go! :D Ibirdball inspired me to do this so yeh! Now this is the 747-400 of ANA, hope you enjoyed it :)

I've been on one of the 747-400s on CDG-NRT shortly before they went out of service with ANA

0:39 - 0:44 I painted that one at Paine Field, Everett, Washington in 1993.

Funny enough, on the 2006 image, it looks like the plane took off from the taxiway.

Note: The 747s without winglets is not a 743, they didn't add winglets to some of their 744s
Its called the 747-400D
The 747-400D were replacements for the 747SR's that were only built for JAL and ANA
I believe only 14 or so 747-400D's were produced
FYI:
743 = 747-300
744 = 747-400
Yeah you just need to spot the extra windows on the upper deck to know the difference between the 400 and 400D

There were alot of 744s in MNL before, too bad most of em are just A320s

ANA's retirement of 747s ended the 41 years of 747 service on Japan since they're the last Japanese 747 operator prior to JAL retirement of 747 3 years earlier
