There's a certain timeless grace to the 747. The 747-8 is awesome to behold. It is nice counterpoint to the more spartan aesthetic of the also-awesome modern twin jet wide bodies (777, A350, etc).
I think everyone would agree that the 747-8i series is more beautiful than the 747-400 in a similar way to how the 777-300ER is more beautiful than the 777-200. Who's with me?!
@@ScenicSpotter Thanks! Also too, here's a useful plane spotting guide. Wide-body jets are not only much bigger than narrow-body jets, they also have pointier noses and wings that are more sweptback than those of their single aisle counterparts. That's one of the first things I've ever noticed before I knew how to identify each model individually.
Right after touchdown, it rolls significantly to the right. Must be a warp in the runway. During the take-off roll it bounces noticeably too-- shows the wing flex!
I wished Lufthansa would make a comeback to the Manila, Philippines again.... They suspended their MNL flight-ops back in 2007, ending a 27 consecutive years of operation. KLM is the sole European Operator left to fly to Manila, and that's via Taipei as flight KL808 from Amsterdam. Lufthansa would be awesome to have flying to Manila again from Frankfurt on a 3-weekly flight to begin with. Please Please Lufthansa. Please come back.
Never 380 will be even after less that 15 years grounded and out of proportion while the 747 last over 50 years transported over 2 billions people worldwide....you know nothing about the 2 airplanes

I think that is true! 747 will always be for me at top of the most beautiful airplanes ever!

Such a wonderful aircraft, the queen of the Sky.
Gorgeous jet, great footage, thank you for taking this.
love the 747 -8 how graceful
Queen of the sky b747-8
So beautiful and elegant Landing from skies...Dreams of my Lufthansa Flight!!
The best looking Air Plane with the Lufthansa Logo

Long live the Queen!
So much prettier than the a380
The A380 is about as graceful and beautiful as a steam shovel. It’s just a fat, ugly overweight tube with 4 engines 🤮
@Sehr lecker Maulwurfkuchen it is
Totally agree I still like the old design legendary 737 except one Thing in the new design ... The blocked window looks ugly.
yeah while the a380 is incredible achievement in engineering , it looks like a fucking brick with wings.
I disagree

The 747 is designed to have glans, enabling it to thrust magnificently
sooo graceful!
Very classy plane!
The Queen of the sky Boeing 747-8 i🥇❤️👍😃
Superb landing and take off..........
Landing was not good enough that Was hard landing
Nice! Like! Good photography, very professional.
I like the old Lufthansa livery better.
Very Nice, the Queen!
hail The Queen!
The landing's quite hard. Hmmmm...does its Pilots were in Ryanair
seems like the pilot did that on purpose as they were about to miss the touchdown spot. notice how it cancelled the flare
What is that black smudge at 3:51
It's a black hole!
Just kidding 😂. It must be some foreign object which is out of the camera's focus .
Did engine 3 almost strike the ground after touchdown? check 0:53
Yes i noticed that too
because of the crosswind. they aim to get to the center, check the tail how the rudder moved
Lindo demais
👏👏👏👍
Super...
If you want a great big airplane, there's a place in Washington that sells them.
soft landing
I noticed how aggressive the landing was. not very smooth. as if the pilot did that on purpose as they almost missed the touchdown spot.
Blackhole in between 😆
Who wants that plane?
A380 IS BETTER
Nahhh its maybe a lil bit better but i like boeing more
