      Friend, im too using tip 2 past 6 months, but not satisfied much as tip1 360,
      I think more brightness in tip1 even with single led, compare to tip2, and for turbo no need to press and hold button in tip1
      But in tip2 we need to press and hold.. Button For turbo..

    Fitting a flashlight to a baseball cap is a thing in USA, but in U.K. the only people who would be regularly wearing baseball caps wouldn’t be interested in buying this type of torch/flashlight. They’re the type of people you’d be aiming your strobe at 🤣

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  3 года назад

      Really? That is interesting, hahaha. Among other reasons, I actually use this method each evening when walking my dog, as it frees up my hands for better leash control. It also allows me easier access to my secondary flashlight, which happens to have strobe, LOL.
      Thanks for dropping by!

      @DailyCarrySolutions  5 лет назад +3

      Definitely going to check them out - aside from lumen output I really am interested in more inherent features in the light, like how the TIKI LE has a passive lockout by requiring you to click the button twice to turn it on. But they are definitely on my radar (even though they weren't at SHOT Show) and I will look into them for sure. Thanks for the input!

      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад +1

      Hi Doug! Sorry for the delay as I was waiting for my contact at Nitecore to respond. While the HM01 is still in the pipeline, due to the pandemic pushing alot of releases back, it still is not in its final stages to set an ETA for release. They advised it should hit 320 lumens and did confirm it is still in the books to be released (as he found information in their internal catalog), but the information is still limited as they only start to pump out more info prior to product finalization. Rest assured if I find anything out soon, I will let you know. Thanks for reaching out!

You can imagine how tedious it can get to edit, timestamp, mark and upload the footage in a timely manner, along with 50+ other videos from SHOT Show that week! If you have any requests for more information on one of the models, send me a timestamp (i.e. the light at 9:00 ) and I will be glad to help get you more information on it. Dear Nitecore. Please make flashlights that can be charged magnetically (like the apple magsafe) or usb C. Also... you need a store in India. There is a huge huge market for good quality flashlights and power solutions.

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад +1

      Hello - of the keychain models, I believe you are referring to the TIKI LE (Time Stamp 9:53) . There is a standard (clear) version but it does not have the blue and red LED's that flash like the LE (black) model.

    Feedback: the camera must focus only on the flashlight being discussed... Not anywhere else

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад +2

      Agreed - unfortunately the microphone was picking up way too much noise around because of the amount of people at the trade show, so to preserve the audio and information provided, there was some sacrifice to be made. We are learning to work as a duo though (this is our second trade show) and are working with different methods to optimize our performance during videos. Thank you for the feedback though! we will definitely look into this for next time.

    I saw on another video that when using the max lumens, it only allowed it like 20 seconds of use, and then it gradually decreased, is this normal? I thought I'd be able to use max lumens for like 20 or 30 minutes?

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад +1

      Sorry, but which light are you referring to? Also, as a rule of thumb, max lumens only runs on flashlights for at most a minute or two, then begins to step down to keep the flashlight from overheating. That's for all current flashlights. My tip is to find one with a nice steady 'second to brightest' setting that will hold longer and use that. I never use a flashlight for a steady max setting, as that is almost always just marketing gimmick. What good is a pocket flashlight with 2500 lumens max setting for 20 seconds that steps down to 300? lol.... some companies crack me up!

    My Olight S1 Baton is justs as small as what you displayed and outputs up to 1000 lumens adjustable down if desired.

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  5 лет назад +3

      Hi James - I actually own and use quite a few Olights and among them, the S Mini and S1R Turbo S, both of which pump out some serious lumens as well (S1r Turbo S does ~900 lumens?). The issue with many of these smaller lights that pump out high lumens is that the 1000 that you are referring to only lasts for a minute or two before stepping down to something like 300 lumens. What good is that? I'd much prefer a steady 600 than a momentary 1000 any day. You also have to consider the emitters and the color output of the lights as well. There is a steady market for neutral, warm, and cool light color outputs so its good to have different brands provide offerings that are similar, yet different in that they offer different tones, more flood/throw, etc. Right now, some of my favorite brands are Olight, Sofirn, and Astrolux... and Olight's S1 series is hard to beat when it comes to EDC flashlights! Thanks for watching :)

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  5 лет назад +1

      I was actually on the fence to pick one up as it really doesn't have a place in my flashlight collection (regarding use, as i don't really collect). If I need lumens or throw, I just reach for my Sofirn Q8. The ramping setup is really cool too since you can set it to exactly the light output you need. I'm usually well under 2000 lumens whenever I use it so it lasts quite a while, but 4 x 18650 batteries is what you need to get it going...so it's a give and take. However, for around $50 you really can't go wrong!

    Nitecore should create a TUP 2. But make it "Slightly" more narrow, give it a flat bottom so it can tail stand, and replace the plastic lens with glass. IMHO, that would be an AWESOME EDC light!

    Which is the best flashlight at this moment with around 4000-5000 lumens ? Nitecore ? Klarus ?

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад

      Hello Stavros!
      If you are chasing lumens in a smaller package, I'd go with either company, but the Klarus G15 (on sale through Klarus right now for about $80) is a great addition in that lumen mark. The problem with smaller form factor/high output is the heat generated at that high of a lumen output, and honestly, for straight EDC use or even stuff like walking the dog at night, etc., 1500-2k is a great sweet spot.
      Not sure what you'd be using the light for, but another great night time/tactical use light at around 4400 lumens under $100 would be the Nitecore E4k- www.nitecorestore.com/NITECORE-E4K-4400-Lumen-EDC-Flashlight-Battery-p/fl-nite-e4k.htm
      Again this is only based on my limited knowledge at that lumen output, but I'd reach for the Nitecore model if I needed that many lumens - their chargers are fantastic, their batteries have worked well for me, and their flashlights have yet to fail in the field, no matter what I've used them on. I hope this helps!

      @@DailyCarrySolutions At this moment you are the only person who can advice me for a good flashlight. I work in the forest with the Police and I need a good quality flashlight, compact so I can carry it on my belt and lumens arround 4000-5000. I can't decide between the Nitecore or other brand so I will need your help. Do you think there is better option than the Nitecore E4K ? Thanks again for your reply

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад

      Stavros, Either the G15 from Klarus or the Nitecore E4K would serve you well. The E4k is a good size that fits in the palm of your hand, and with over 11000 candela, it throws light out close to 200+ meters. I think that would be my choice, but ultimately, you need to choose what would be best for you. Let me know what you end up purchasing and how it works out for you!

    I'm not one of the dumbs that buy expensive flashlights with unreplaceable batteries, because I'm not willing to throw it away after 5 years and buy a new one as Nitecore wants it to be. And who cares about sustainability :-)

    • @DailyCarrySolutions
      @DailyCarrySolutions  4 года назад

      That's understandable.
      I am one of those who buys something that works for me, and have no issue at all passing many of the new models by without hesitation. In fact, my go-to flashlight for walking my dogs at night is an Olight S2 - The original. I purchased 2 when they were first released and have yet to even open the box for the second light. But for those looking for new flashlights, or an upgrade to a now-defunct light, these are some of the best and brightest offerings. I would not be doing a service to the channel's viewers by just showing the flashlights that work for me, as everyone has different needs and tastes.
      As for the internal batteries, most of the smart phones that are used today (that we pay $$$ for) have internal batteries that can go bad as well. I actually prefer smaller keychain lights with internal batteries that can be charged on the go via USB cords as it keeps a backup should my primary light fail. The Tiki (in this video) has been on my keychain since January and has been amazing so far. At a low price point (Under $20) it is definitely worth picking up.
