just a note to encourage you to continue... to test with prints, even without awaiting a perfect chemistry from the past.
also, try to ignore those who sound like they know more than they do.

Yes, prints are the plan and some without negatives. I spent time yesterday measuring with my spot meter and trying different combinations of opals glass and diffusion plastic. I've brought the light head 3 and a half inches closer to the negative stage too. I'll do another video when I get it. Perfect chemistry doesn't matter, 'soup' is in the mail. Ignoring people is my strong suit!
      Merry Christmas!

Love your videos, Question: is the brown ring around the bottom of the light housing a light seal? I need something better than what I have

Yes, it's a piece of weatherstrip with an adhesive backing from Home Depot.

Hi, how are you controlling color of the lights or are you just projecting white light and filtering?

I'm using a 4000K LED and Ilford multi contrast filters. I'm several hundred prints into this set up and it is working out very well!

Fantastic! I have 2 Beseler 4 x 5 enlargers - did you wire leds in series or parallel to the power driver?
