- This is another story-driven song from Dystopian Fiction, telling another side of the same dark future. In war-torn Miami, now infamously known as the "Bleeding Sun", the powerful beings controlling the city needed an ally to protect their homes and control their citizens. This is the story of their ascended protector, who betrayed them all and became The Hunter. Much like the rest of the album this sets the stage for events still to come in Stargazers, and The Hunter's inevitable loss of purpose and sanity in No More Heroes. It's more of an anthem than some of the other songs in the story, as it symbolizes transformation and the choice to use great power to bring down its own unethical source.

@@CleoPinto4317 I don't think that's what he's going for. Avi is a soulsborne fan and all of these songs have different narrators with missing details for events and the like . That feels like it's on purpose to me. He wants us to puzzle it together kinda like soulsborne item descriptions.

I know I keep saying "this is one of my favorites by you", but... This is one of my favorites by you. It has a unique sound, the chorus is powerful and uplifting, and the story is incredibly immersive!
I just love how there's is this over-arcing narrative throughout a lot of the songs. It just connects every piece not just thematically, by being dystopian, but elegantly and very gripping.
I absolutely love how so many of these songs are connected story-wise (Bleeding Sun & No More Heroes). So amazing and cool!

Ironically, I made a game design a while back when trying to come up with ideas for a game. One day when I was going over it, I found this song and listened to it. Long story short, the song was epic and somehow fit the game astoundingly. Riddle me impressed on being able to make a full on plot from a song.

@@clreyawesome3527 I woke up realizing how much time I wasted not finishing my projects, and while the positive of years of procrastination is that I am able to easily come up with new concepts, it lacks in concrete work to show off through my portofolio. I am now doing my best to finish what I start *
@@division137 Good words to live by, used to run into similar stuff procrastinating and coming up with ideas. While ideas may be a very important part and even job-worthy, the actual using and doing of the projects is where stuff comes to fruition. Been drawing more as a result. Regardless, wish ya good luck on your projects and finishing up the loose ends into something grand.

My god, this track is amazing! I know you probably get that from a lot of people, but I just, wow this is spectacular. And to think that an entire story has been woven with these past songs. All I can honestly say is great job, my good sir. Great job.
It takes courage to Betray the ideals of those that believe in you in order to save them. Knowing that you'll be hated by those you've saved forever afterwards. Oblivion awaits and yet knowing that, taking that curse upon herself, the hunter does so to save the people. Tragic yet heroic at the same time. Such a wonderful piece Aviators. Your Bardic Prowess deserve far more than what RUclips can provide you.

I know everyone has said that this song is amazing, but I want you to know that I love this song and am grateful that it exists. Whenever I am running to home after working out, I play this song on the loop. It helps me ignore the burning in my legs and lungs as I focus on the lyrics and the music. It inspires me to have ambitions that are too impossible to achieve, but worthwhile to pursue nonetheless. Thank you for creating this song.

Whoooooo boi I'm early. This is one I wasn't too sure of in the beginning, but it slowly grew on me, and hot damn! It's a wonderful song, and it's really powerful in its message.
By far my favorite the chorus really blew me away
I would love if someone could order all the songs in the order they come in the storyline so I could listen to them in that order, since their order on the albums doesn't appear to be the correct order for that.
Im pretty sure they aren't being released on chronological order are there are still songs not yet released. All we can do is wait

I appreciate the subtlety in this song. There is a temptation to think that metal might be a more suitable genre, but that would not be nearly as creative. Not every moment needs to be a torrential firefight or car-chase -- just a hero resolute and confidently towards a destiny. Thank you for demonstrating that perfectly.

This is really great. The theme behind the lyrics to this remind me very much of Les Friction's albums. Granted, their earlier album more than Dark Matter. Dark Matter has a really dark atmosphere to it.
