Hey there! I've been learning Japanese for roughly two years now and finally reached JLPT 5! I'm really proud of myself, even if it took kinda long. I had to take a couple of breaks because of tests and graduation and stuff, and right now I am preparing for university. It may be hard right now because you don’t feel the support from your parents but what I can advise you is to keep on working hard. Study hard and always do your best. the good thing about living in Japan is that there are nature places to escape to where there is less people or hardly anyone around. living the city, you can only go to the crowded parks or beach on weekends. 😂

Hello! Yes, I always create a schedule ahead of time and write it down on my planner. If in case I missed one study schedule, I make sure to reschedule it on the same week. I’m still adjusting but it’s working out well so far. ☺️ Hope this helps!

I’m not in a language school, and this is my first time learning any quite complicated language, and I’m just not sure where to start and what can help. Like, what kind do I start learning first? Hi I know I'm 4 months late but I hope this helps. I am a beginner too it's been just a week since I've started. I'll just share what I know. And I can't really afford spending on language learning apps/books. First start by learning hiragana then follow up by learning the katakana. Then learn a couple of vocabulary, grammer and a kanji's a day. There are more than 4000 kanji's but the most common one's are known as the joyou kanji. Which they're 2136 kanji's. Apps I would suggest are anki, lingo deer, ja sensei, japanese, busuu,Japanese study (only the first 80 kanji's are free you'll have to pay for the rest) while the rest are free. I hope this helps I don't know much since I'm just starting out.

1. how long has it been since you moved to japan? how old were you back then?
2. where are you from? is there alot of people studying in japan there? (sorry it it offensive)
3. do you come to the japan university? (like after highschool, includes sponsorship etc) if yes, is it afforable/expensive?
4. if im not wrong, youre taking languange major in uni right? then is languange-major has a wide variations where you can choose whatever language you want to learn?
i would be glad if you answer this, im 14 and i live in the southeast asia. i dont know if theres alot of people here actually going to japanese university. but if they are, im pretty sure the cost is expensive, and in my country, our money value doesnt worth much. i want to be an animator/anime-making related in the anime industry when i grow up. im sorry if these questions offended you in any way.
