Hey there! I've been learning Japanese for roughly two years now and finally reached JLPT 5! I'm really proud of myself, even if it took kinda long. I had to take a couple of breaks because of tests and graduation and stuff, and right now I am preparing for university. But I'm hoping that I'll find some time to continue learning this super interesting language. Your videos are very interesting and helpful to me, thanks a lot!

It may be hard right now because you don’t feel the support from your parents but what I can advise you is to keep on working hard. Study hard and always do your best. the good thing about living in Japan is that there are nature places to escape to where there is less people or hardly anyone around. living the city, you can only go to the crowded parks or beach on weekends. 😂
I've been really enjoying your videos. Particularly the ones on how you study the language. Learning Japanese has been something I have wanted to do for the past forty years. During those forty years, life just sort of got in the way of that goal, but last year I finally started. It's going slowly but I know more of the language than I did when I started so that's something. I've really become a fan of Japanese music. Much to my eternal shame (just joking) one of my favorite groups is BabyMetal, One of the things I do, to help my learning, is to find the lyrics to a Japanese song and translate them word for word (with the help of Jisho com). I've learned a lot of new vocabulary that way. I downloaded Shirabe Jisho after you recommended it in a previous video. What a great app. I really appreciate your videos. Thank you for the effort you put into them.

I have a question how do you learn associated vocabulary of a particular kanji and its sound changing rule? Like there are kanji with multiple reading of on and kun yomi when they appear with different words.... 😭

Hello! Yes, I always create a schedule ahead of time and write it down on my planner. If in case I missed one study schedule, I make sure to reschedule it on the same week. I’m still adjusting but it’s working out well so far. ☺️ Hope this helps!
