it is quiet commendable that you managed to get 14k subs in about half an year from starting your channel. the way you present your videos is phenominal. The camera angles, the aesthetic, the lighting, the positioning, all of them are on point just like a professional film maker but the one aspect that enhances all these is the editing. Your editing is amazing, it is clearly evident how much time and effort you put into making one video while managing an actual job as a teacher. This is quiet impressive!
Also, you beingan ALT makes you similar to Chris Broad from the 'Abroad In Japan' youtube channel. That channel would be of great help if you are starting new, not only as a teacher but also as a youtuber

If you are still studying I suggest the app Busuu. It explains things well and helps me memorize words a lot better than listening to anki.

If I'm outside, I take a full shower and completely change my clothes before I sit anywhere. Washing hands only doesn't remove germs from rest of body. Long hair can trap stuff too. Aside from that scary stuff, I like the relaxing nature of your videos and sit under my warm blanket and feel cozy :)

Sharanya, I'm in the same situation. I'm learning on my own, and live in an area of the US that has no resources for learning Japanese. Thankfully we live in a time when the internet allows us access information from all over the world. I have found many free online resources for learning the language, including lessons, dictionaries, and RUclips channels such as Mori's. Still, it is difficult when you are unable to practice speaking the language. One thing I've done to try to get a little practice is, I bought a cheap Google Home Mini at a pawnshop. I set it up to in Japanese rather than English. I try to ask it questions in Japanese based on something I've learned like, "What time is it", "What is the temperature outside", or some other simple questions. If Google can understand what I'm saying, odds are someone who speaks the language would understand as well. I'm sure you could use an old iPhone or Android phone as well and use their voice assistants. It's far from perfect, but it does provide a little practice. Good luck with your learning and I hope your dream of living in Japan comes to pass. :)

@@sharanyatyagi It's really helped me. Also, you can download the google translation app and speak into it and, if you've pronounced the words right, it will translate them back so you can verify that you've said the word correctly. Ain't technology grand? :)
